Too early for panic stations now...
We need more than that. At current we don't have any full backs at the club, as I don't count Ilunga and Jacobsen and Bridge are off. Our CB's are all young, our midfield will be depleted and who knows with our frontline. Not to mention our goalkeeper if Rob Green is off. Honestly it's going to take at least a double figure of new players IMO. Unless we manage to keep hold of some of these better ones.

Yep, I make you right there.
I'd like us to keep some of the younger ones like Collison, Noble, Sears, Spence etc. I'm really not bothered about the rest (other than those who will obviously be off, like Parker, Green..).

Da Costa, Tomkins will be our centre backs.
Stanislas on the left.
Sears on the right.
Spector, Noble, Collison, Hitz, Parker, Boa Morte in midfield
Ba up front on his own.

Easy

Thought Hitzlesperger had a shocker today, right up there with last week and possibly the week before....Shop window selection from the board ?.

Shame Noble wasn't fit, was he at least at the ground today.

Didn't you bet we would get 100+ points next year?

Stech/Krucz
Jacobsen / Spence --- Tomkins / New --- Faye / New --- New / Fry
New / Sears --- Collison / New --- Noble / Spector --- New / LBM
------------------------------New / New --- New / Hines-----------------------

 Your right, I think we need at least 9 new players.

I think after watching today i can say this.

Sears, impresses me alot on the right wing, with stanislas as back up i think thats alright.
Spence, looked decent.
Tomkins, Needs confidence and a real force next to him, NOT GABBS. either experience or if none available Da Costa might be ok.
Collison, poor guy needs fitness and games.
Hitz, can only deliver free kicks, will only be useful if Da Costa is playing and maybe Piquionne starts playing like he did at the start of the season
Hines, Just isn't great. Maybe as a 3/4th choice. maybe.
Boa Morte, his ability has gone, if he stays it will be to kick people in the middle of the parton cold winters evenings.

we need a left wing, striker, left back and maybe some experience CM and CB depending on how the new manager accesses things.

Well done to Mick McCarthy and Wolves, they deserved to stay up. Great to see the Brum scum go down.

Funnily enough next year could be the making of Boa. He's a hard-worker who seems to have lost his technical ability. Championship football should suit him nicely

I think Spence and Fry at LB (good reviews at League 1 Charlton would be good back ups,(in a league where full back are quite bad), Tomkins and da Costa supplemented with say Anton Ferdinand and Faye from Stoke on a free would put us in good position imo. I would give Stech or Krucz a go before signing some journeyman Championship keeper. We may well need double figures, but looking at other Championship clubs, alot seem to have young players as their back ups. The last thing I want is aload of short term Championship cart horses in and being surpluss if we go back up.

Well at least the game shows how much work we need to do to be competitive in the Championship. If we had snuck a draw or a 1-0 win we would have said that there was nothing to worry about, it was all Grant's fault and Keen will sort us out. None of this is true of course and hopefully the claret and blue specs might have rubbed off a bit on how easy its going to be next year.

I assume you all love Gerrard as much as you clearly adore Carra?

Must admit that Carragher does have an awful lot to say for himself and can be really outspoken at times, he's certainly a character.
OK.I am struggling with this a little bit.I don't know how to put this but Carragher,Gerrard,Mickey Owen,Robbie Fowler,Ringo Starr,Gerry and the Pacemakers,Cilla Black,Jimmy Tarbuck and anything vaguely Liverpool related can go f*** themselves. Also got a bit of a problem with the "second team" idea especially when the first team is the bindippers.I am sure you are a lovely lady but I not going too agree with you on the Liverpool thing.
