I think we'll be looking back on the riots as a calm, level-headed reaction at that point

Too many cops getting dragged to unusual places .They won't have enough to police football matches .
I'd be very surprised if this was the case. Sure, the Met is drawing police from around the country, but not enough to lock down the entire country.

Just walked into Middlesbrough town centre and the papers were proclaiming that Teesside police were on their way to help London.

Barrera for Sears and Cole for Piquionne the only changes I see.

Hard to judge Barrera last season, I thought he was lightweight, but he looks to actually get past a defender and tries to get crosses in, with Nolan and now Carew there was no point buying them unless we are going to give them something to get on the end of. We at last have a left winger, so we need to get the same service from the other side.

Any win and a clean sheet is fine by me. But I think we might be more relaxed away from home.

Gotta agree with you there HH

Go with the same backline

Matt Taylor did very well on the left wing , but we need a right winger either barrea or stanislaus for me to do the same(sorry freddie).midfield was too packed the last game we need to get down the wngs and stretch teams more

play noble protecting defence again and scotty and nolan supporting our loan striker (piq my pick)

we need a pacey striker .... lets go for maynard

We still haven't sold this out which is very disappointing. First away game of the season on a Saturday at 3 o'clock as well. :(

Given the proximity to our friends in the north, it would not suprise me to see Sheff Utd fans about on Saturday

Another striker off injured tonight apparently, added to already a lot of injuries. If we don't beat these comfortably I will be majorly pissed off. Don't think there is anything wrong in expecting a win against a depleted Doncaster side.

Phone up the ticket office tomorrow. They will either post it out or you'll be able to collect from the Doncaster ticket office.

Plenty of places to park there is secure car parks around it and also a big shopping outlet 100 yards away and also a b+q just as you come of the motorway and a boozer next door to it

Add to that they have played midweek and we haven't. We should be fresher.

No excuses this week.

League Programme Cancelled At The Weekend?

Post by tavbet »

Don't know about everyone else but I can't see the weekends games going ahead. The old bill still haven't got a grip on the looters and I can see this going on for a few days.
