Change of plan. The Plough seems a much better option. About 1.5 miles from the ground. Easy to find apparently. Pretty much straight outside the trainstation and not far off a Car Park. Looks like the best option to me. Not keen on Beefeaters.

Does anyone know anywhere near Kings Cross that does a decent fry up? Usually went to the Brittania pub whenever we went from Euston, but don't know of anywhere similar at Kings Cross?

Oh, and see you in the Walkabout 8-)

the only trouble with us is when whoever is upfront cole, piq, get isolated the temptation to hoof gets desirable . id much rather see 4-4-2 even if it is outdated, atleast that way we have more chance to link up the frontmen instead of 5 midfielders treading on each other

I don't think we have the personnel to play 4-4-2 to be honest..

It's all about the two outside Attackers getting closer to our Mian Striker with one &/or two from the Midfield supporting Centrally too, as has been pointed out this should be Nolan plus one for me.

We can score Goals with that attackign 4 or 5..

There's nothing wrong with 4-4-2 anyway, it's a very solid Formation that regulary wins Games of Football in the Premier League & elsewhere.

Formations are flexible anyway and all they are really is an outline of the sort of shape a Team wants to have to start with, a decent Team should be able to change formation at will DURING a Game & generally does due to the circumstances of the Game & the different challenges in the 90 mins.

We're off in the 'Toad Brewery' before the game on Saturday, got some good ales on apparently. Any more Kumbers off there?[/quote]

I've heard the Tut n Shive on the way to the ground is good:

Is Stanislas fit for this one? If so I'd swap him for Sears and Cole for Piq. If he is not I'd put Faubert in for Sears. Other than that, leave it the same as last week, but bring Collison on earlier if we are not breaking them down and poss bring Sears on to play off Cole if Nolan is not giving enough support.

For those suggesting putting Reid down to the bench - would be very harsh as he was one of our best performers last week and dropping him would do nothing for his confidence. Keep Faye in reserve for when one of Tomkins or Reid needs a rest or for when the opposition has a particularly big lump of a forward....

He really isn't a substitute sort of player imo. Throughout his career he has always been someone who works himself into a game, then expressing himself better as the game goes on. To be an impact sort of player is difficult. Parker though our best player is probably not capable always of changing a game from the bench, it's more of a culmination of his combined efforts over 90 mins that make him stand out. Would like Collison to start. I'm convinced there is a top player in there.

How likely is it that Slim Sam will drop Sears after just one game

Sears DID have an absolute 'mare against Cardiff ( imho ) but will Sam give him another go at Donny ?

before you all go lording it around lil ol Donny, just be a tad careful, they do have some moody ****ers up there.

as to the game, my money is on the draw 0-0 or 1-1.

Given Donny's penchant for trying to play a bit, it shouln't be our 'big bad get stuck into these soft southern ****ers' test although I fear it may turn into that as the game progresses.

Gonna be West Ham all over the town by the sounds of it. Should be fun! We're with a local, so we'll be in the best boozer you mob don't know about  Can't wait now, 9.48 out of Kings Cross.
