Re: Millwall v West Ham Utd: match thread
Dear god they are a deluded bunch over on HOF.
All this talk pre-game about how intimidating the will make the home support.
They were shocking. Not intimidating in the slightest and fairly quiet from where I was.
They should take a long hard look at themselves before trying to criticise us with the few threads on there about how poor out support was.
We wasn't great by a long chalk, but not as quiet as they try to make out. Typical millwall bravado bollox.

Shame you couldn't sell out your own ground today then. Biggest game of the season and empty seats in your stands?peacable lion wrote:
Haha what a joker, where's Dale farm again?
We'll sell out our allocation at yours you can be sure of that, unlike you jokers haha
You don't know how to spell 'peaceable' and you clearly don't know what it means either. I blame the parents.

The police were not as strict as 03/04,04/05.Once they let us move from London bridge had no problems walking out of the escort, straight over the river to Liverpool St to go home.

Likewise, we stayed on the train for a extra few minutes and then strolled out whilst keeping our heads down, no problems gotting out London Bridge what so ever.boleyn4life wrote: The police were not as strict as 03/04,04/05.Once they let us move from London bridge had no problems walking out of the escort, straight over the river to Liverpool St to go home.

After the last time? I somehow doubt that.doddsy35 wrote:

It'll probably be an early kick off and they'll be escorted from Canning Town or East Ham.
Like Cardiff, they'll be given the whole STB stand, reducing 'capacity' to around 30k max.

Its a sad state of affairs when you have to act like an idiot to support a certain football club. I guarantee that at work or anywhere else there probably quite normal but then on the hof or down the pub with other wall fans they have to act like a child or they don't fit in.Hammer Laffers wrote:Also, as everyone was going on about it I thought I'd take a look at that 'house of fun' forum they have.

Re: Millwall v West Ham Utd: match thread
One thread starts with the post 'I sincerely hope West Ham fan dies on the way home'. I presume whoever runs HOF finds that acceptable. I'm going to contact him to ask.Hammer Laffers wrote:

Re: Millwall v West Ham Utd: match thread
I must have been at a different game then, he had a shocker IMO and how he still starts for us is a mysteryFrom the perspective of listening to the game on the radio, the commentators made it sound as if everytime Faubert had the ball, he wasted the opportunity by fluffing a cross or never finding a team mate. However i think this was mainly due to the fact he had no support or players positioning themselves well in the box.
Carlton sounded like he had an off game today and he didn't get much support from Lansbury/Nolan/Noble/Taylor.
But from what i've heard from people at the game it did sound like Faubert had a gooden. Someone a few pages back even called him MOTM. He deffinatley deserves his place in the side, although sometimes he may make a mess of a chance, he creates alot more than some give him credit for. I'm suprised he hasn't scored yet this season.

He has pace and he's trying much harder than ever before - but he still thinks he can shoot and pass through people's bodies. I am intrigued at how Sam has shown faith in him, and he has responded, but I just don't think he's good enough - not even in this division.We_are_BML wrote:
