Re: West Ham v Ipswich match thread
Got the week off work, so first midweek home game I'll be at for about five years. Couple of really good results for Ipswich in their last couple of games - could be a very difficult game for us.

Re: West Ham v Ipswich match thread
Im going to my first ever midweek game for this one, excited and hoping for a win. Seems like Ipswich have found abit of form over the last couple of weeks though and a good result for them today away at middlesbro.

Our unbeaten run will come to an end, and half of KUMB will be suicidal and wanting to sack/drop anyone and anything.
Re: West Ham v Ipswich match thread
Would like to see us play with 2 up front for this game, we were a little soft up there today & CC seemed to isolated.
Anyway I'm going for a 2-0 win to us.

Would like to see 4-4-2 myself.
I suspect The Northerner is going to stick with 4-5-1 all season long though.
Still confident of a win in this. It's great being in this division going into every game expecting a win and being right most of the time.

Allardyce said post-match that he will be using 442 from time to time - but not when his team are fourth in the table, unbeaten in seven games having played 433...sendô wrote:Would like to see 4-4-2 myself.

Some changes afoot for Tuesday. O'Brien and Taylor are doubts having picked up niggles and one or two players left out today will feature.

Re: West Ham v Ipswich match thread
One shudders to think what's going to happen when this team really starts to click - I reckon the Ipswich game could kickstart our season - and once all the pieces have fallen into place I don't think many teams in this league will be able to cope and stop us.
Look at us at this stage, not playing convincing football but not losing games, not conceding many goals in the process and doing alright on the injury front, apart from small niggles. I cannot wait to see this team perform on the pitch like they should, considering our squad...

Re: West Ham v Ipswich match thread
Demel for O'Brien if he's fit, not sure how bad the knock he got in the development squad was. Bentley for Taylor, Baldock for Nolan, Carew for Cole and Collison for Lansbury
Go 4-4-2
-----------------Green-----------------
Demel----Faye----Reid---Linda
Bentley---Noble---Collison---Faubert
----------Baldock-----Carew-------
2-0 to the hammers with goals from Collison and Baldock
I know its a lot of changes but that team is still strong and should do the job

I reckon a very close 2:1 west ham, I don't know about the rest of use but I am loving the championship I know we are a premiership team but I am gonna enjoy every moment until our inevitable promotion (drunk post)
