Thought their 'ultras' sang a fair amount but in no way were they particularly loud, in fact I expected much better.
When we sang we were very loud and first half was brilliant. Second half was alot quieter from us as people were frustrated at what they were watching. Proper celebration for Carew's equaliser though.
All in all good day out we seemed to take over on the walk upto the ground.

Did anyone manage to get a beer afterwards? We were denied entry to any of the pubs, so just headed home. Thought the closing of shops seemed excessive, but then saw some absolute tit try to nick a can of Super Strength Kestrel from a newsagents, then attempt to hit the shopkeeper, before storming out and smashing up some shelves on his way. Hope he wasn't a West Ham fan. Properly embarrassing.

Had the same problem, even the Co-Op by the station was closed. Found about 10 cans of lager in the newsagents opposite and was just taking them to the counter when the owner came over and told us they weren't serving alcohol until after 6pm. So we went home!

Not one to slag our lot off however theycreated a fairly good atoms compared to most grounds home fans

As for our youth they were in sailor and decided to visitacertain pub after about 7pm again not our finest moment I personally think thought we leftthings like that for the likes of millwall not as if they arethe creme de la creme in fv

I was within 50 yards of the Sailor and never saw a thing...and walked to the station around 8 pm

Friends who are regulars say that it was definitely an event to have a visit from us. Yesterday's attendance bettered anything they've had for a few years.

Have to agree with the palace comments there, we played so much hoofball yesterday i found it horrible to watch. That was total Allardyce football yesterday and i wont be too happy if it carries on.

Exactly the same mate, got back and straight to a BBQ, and then out to a few pubs and clubs after. I feel ****ing destroyed today!

I was stood in the 2nd row back on the far right, by the family stand. That side was a complete joke as far as atmosphere is concerned, couldn't hear anything from their other side either but could see them clapping and jumping so i guess it's just bad acoustics. Thought our support was decent though, got proper loud at times. Tevez chants were a bit muggy, i think it started off with some ***** in Spoons - everyone joined in once so they thought they were now songwriters and chanted it every 2 minutes.

Was a proper laugh outside Spoons, took over the whole street and having the kick about with the plastic footballs. Cheers to the bloke who let us buy a few of his Carlings cos all the outside shops were closed, shame it was 2 years out of date

The last 15-20 minutes of the first half we played good football and kept possession well, and they rarely got out of their own half towards the end of the first half, but in the 2nd like you said we reverted to hoofball, and like you, I don't want to see it.
