I was told Taylor picked up a knock, but not seen it reported anywhere. I think he might get rested.

Can't see us resting our best player for the biggest game of the season. If he doesn't play, it will be because he can't.

come on puff, you gotta admit it, that sentance is all over the place! bloody hilarious though, your getting as good as hans
It was poor English, I don't deny that, but it was purposely written in such a way that I thought most people would understand, but the last person I thought would ever pick me up on it was the guy who first brought it to my notice. If you look at at some of his, there are sentances begining with a small letter and punctuation in the wrong places to name but two errors, but I generally get the drift of what he is trying to say and not try and be clever as he was.

Anyone know if you can buy tickets at the ground in the home end for this one? (with the away end being sold out)

Sutt's second Team is the one we'll win the Game with..

I went down to the ticket office on Friday, for home tickets you either had to be on their system from a previous purchase, or be able to give a name and address for someone who is.

What is going in with Sir Guy Of Demel?
I like him, he was my favourite Hamburg player, he signed 6 weeks ago, but is yet to make his debut.

Going with a mate , his son and his grandson (7 yrs old and his first game) hoping for a win under the lights and over 3000 Hammers singing "we are top the league" , if that dont fix him for life nothing will. :crest:

Very different game away... can't really knock our away form and tactics so far.
Big Sam was just on Sky Sports and pretty much said it will be naive to not play three against three in the middle of the park against a team who have not lost at home and are top of the league. He targeted the middle three as their main strength.

He also said he left Lansbury out as he looked fatigued when he returned from two England U21 games in a week with travelling involved.

Not saying it is right or wrong but... I will be amazed if we do not play a middle three with Lansbury coming in for Baldock.

With West Ham selling their allocation and Southampton only having 1500 tickets to sell, it could/should be our first away game this season with a crowd over 30,000. I really think our lads will be up for this, and I wish I was going. First v Second, I love this division

This team should certainly dominate the midfield. I am always unsure how good we will be in terms of attacking in open play, but we will be strong at set pieces like we have in most of our away matches.

Can see the northerner reverting to 4-5-1 for this. I'd be happy enough with a point.

So Sams saying Southampton play a 3 man midfield? Not sure I would agree with that.

When I saw them this season it looks like they play a sort of 4-1-3-2 , although they seem to be pretty fluid in transition and have very good interchange. Certainly a very attacking side that pass and move to good effect.
