Almunia

O'Brien Reid Faye Linda

Faubert Noble Nolan Collison

Baldock Carew

Didn't know whether to put PBD or Noble in there... We need that defensive cover but Noble was arguably our best player on Monday.

Will Tomkins be fit for Saturday?

I'd like to see us line up something like this with these as substitutes:

Boffin, Diop, Sears, Piquionne, Montenegro?

You can't ahve Noble and Nolan together as the 2 center mids, they will not cover enough ground, if I am correct, we went with those two again Ipswich and were overn run.

After recent performances you can not drop Diop.

Started the season with 4-3-3, occasionally playing 4-4-2,but most recently they've stuck with 4-4-2.

So, expect 4-3-3, such is the mentality of the interim manager to win the fans over by doing the exact opposite of what the outgoing manager did.

Cheers. I take it they'll be going with one up top away at us then....

Really hope we see Baldock from the start. I can't take no more of that line up that started at Brighton

It's more of an attacking front 3 they've played, so yeah, same rule applies: cautious with probably 1 up top.

I'd go with the normal back five.
Then Noble, Collison and Nolan in the midfield.
Carew up front with Baldock and Sears off him.

Going to be a touch radical for this one .

-------------------------------------------Green-------------------------------------

O'Brien--------------Faye--------------------------Reid----------Macartney

--------------------------------------------Diop--------------------------------------

Faubert-------------------------------------------------------------------Collison

-------------------------------------------Noble (c)----------------------------------

----------------------------Sears----------------------Baldock------------------

Bench : Almunia, Carew, Nolan, Tomkins, Moncur .

No big lump up front, force the players to play the ball on the deck , and make sure the front two run their socks off , dropping deep when we don't have the ball to press the opposition .

I'd like to see Sears from the start. He was a breath of fresh air with his pace against Brighton...

Carew owned Blackpool. Are you mad? Carew and Baldcock up front at home together all day long.

I suspect I would "own" a 5 foot 7 centre back as well .You don't often get to play against one , but two games in three would be pushing your luck .

They've played with a front 2 in their last 7 Games ??

Like the look of that especially Noble supporting the strikers - he's a better passer, more creative and a bit quicker than Nolan. A different approach that can be changed easily if it's not working. .

They've played a 4-4-2, with sometimes Michael Johnson ( the Man City one ) playing in a holding Midfield role, in their last 7 Games..

The 2 up front whoever they are, will cause us problems..

I like it all bar the dropping of our Captain who is also our joint top Goalscorer... :?

Here's my lineup as follows...

--------------------------------------Almunia-------------------------------------------
OBrein-------------Faye------------------------Reid--------------Mccartney
---------------------------------------Diop--------------------------------------------
----------Faubert--------------------------------------------Noble----------------
--------------------------------------Nolan-------------------------------------------
--------------------Baldock---------------------Carew----------------------------

Would love to see Sears in the mix if we start having the same attacking problems as the game at Brighton. He could be a great influence on this match if he gets in.
