91 points has been enough to guarantee 2nd spot for the last 8 years, at the rate we are going we would get 89 points so not looking too bad.

Watched it on internet. Green was awesome today as was Faye. Colloson looked like the world and a huge weight had been taken off his shoulders, I reckon he will be back to his best potential soon. Cole changed the game, he may not win all the headers but with his back to goal no one can take the ball off him, he just needs the midfield to push up.
Get in irons great result.. :raver:

Atmosphere was alright from our end. Faye all game long was brilliant (he deserves a song) and Hull were really lacking in ideas after our second.

Prior to the game, this was exactly my point as to why he should be in the team.hammer1975 wrote: special mention for jack collison too though - rarely gave up possession
Still being played out of position, but still chipping in with good attacking play when he needs to.
Love to see him play attacking midfield when Taylor gets back.
Great result today

A bit like the Brighton game in a way. Are we becoming a lucky side?

Managed to watch the last 10 minutes on the web, wow Greeno !.
Respect the points, lol.
Two weeks to try and get some players back fit, possibly Demel available for selection ?. Hope we didn't pick up any new injuries today.
Nolan played a blinder....?.

With respect, Southampton came into this season on a high and a settled squad.Gerblatz wrote:I don't get this mass mentality from the team that we have to sit back to protect a lead; we put ourselves under all sorts of pressure last 15 minutes and but for Green could've been pegged back - do we think this order comes from Allardyce? It doesn't make sense - Southampton got pegged back to 2-2 today but didn't settle for the draw or respect the point; we do need to get more ruthless when we're on top.
We were a shambles for two seasons, half our squad weren't here last season, yet we're second.
I doubt Southampton will be above us at the end of a very long season. they haven't yet had injury problems.

Atmosphere first half was the worst I've ever experienced at any home or away game.
Second half was better thank f***.

faye deserves a medal for the amount of times he has thrown himself in the way of the ball in the last few games. as said before he deserves a song!

I find you get fans simply leaving it to other fans to get it going properly. That shouldnt happen, away especially. No more pussying about, EVERY slag back on board please :twisted:roblo wrote:Very quiet from our end again today, dont know whats up.
