Derby's collected six points from the last nine matches... (1-3-5)

We have 17 from our last nine (5-2-2)

Stats do not determine matches, but it will be interesting to see how the vast gap in form between the two teams will affect the game.

Derby County

I don't have a clue.

Derby: Steven Davies and Theo Robinson both have 5 league goals to their name this season, matching our two top league scorers championship tallies. Recently, 15 year old striker Mason Bennett has been making appearances.

A better performance than todays would be greatly appreciated. Its going to be a really tough game but I am keeping fingers crossed for a 1-0 win and know I will be spending the last ten minutes or so covering my eyes with my hands and feeling genuinely sick with the stress lol :crest:

You can be certain Derby will take the game to us from the off. Home, or away, it is always, predictably, the same every game. Why ? Why can't we get the first tackle in, get on the ball and take the game to other team, instead of playing out way into matches ? This really does my head in

Would love to see a midfield of Faubert, Noble, Diop and Taylor.

I just cannot understand Collison getting a game when we have more players fit, he is a shadow of the potential he showed.

I think Nolan has an appearance clause in his contract or is sleeping with Allardyce otherwise I can't see why he gets picked.

I also think this would help out the full backs.

You better hope Nolan racks up a few more bookings then... Sam will not drop him.

Delivery and options will greatly improve once Demel, O'Brien and Taylor are fully fit and available.
Taylor is an obvious one as we have no quality on the left without him, but having Demel and O'Brien fit would also allow us to push Faubert on one so we could have a real threat from both sides of the pitch.

With Faubert, Noble, Nolan, Diop, Lansbury, Collison and Taylor all fully fit and at their best it would be tough to a top four or five.

I think for the Derby game he might go with the following and just ask Faubert and Baldock to double up on the right...

-------------------Green
Faubert Tomkins Faye McCartney
---------------------Diop
----------------Noble Nolan----- Taylor
--------------Baldock Cole

With the ball it would look like this...
-------------------Green
------------ Tomkins Faye McCartney
-----------Diop
Faubert-----Noble Nolan----- Taylor
--------------Baldock Cole

Without the ball it would look like this...
-------------------Green
Faubert Tomkins Faye McCartney
---------------------Diop
Baldock----Noble Nolan----- Taylor
--------------------Cole

I´d say go for it and play the team that turned the game around, a real 4-3-3 with Piq and Little sam to surround CC, a bit risky but would be great to see!

Spot on for me.

It's going to take Collison a good year to get back to anything near what he was. I'd go with a Noble & Papa midfiled with plenty of width either side of them, if he won't drop Nolan then It has to be Noble & Nolan as we have to play 4-4-2 at home.

If Taylor is not fit then I would start Piq out on th left as he will at least try & take people on. Faubert into midfield with either O'Brien Or Demel at right back.

Looking forward to this one.

This has odds on home banker written all over it when you look at the form of both teams, Derby had a bright start, then have been freefalling down the division over the past month,

With this in mind I can see us getting turned over and we end up loosing 1-2 to these mugs, oh how I pray im wrong, I just have a bad feeling about this one. :(

A victory here would be very useful.

It would cement our position in the upper echlons of the league having navigated through a very tricky period of games.
