Reminder,
There are a lot of people on here that rely on the match the Match Thread for what is going on (in their opinions) and
the actual score. It may seem like humour to some, to post an inacccurate score, but it isn't.
Lets hope this is a blinder of a match thread for all those who can't attend and a resounding win.
Cheers.

After a few uninspiring performances on the trot, i'm gonna stick my neck out and say we'll play some decent footie and win 3-1 with Nolan getting on the scoresheet.

Re: West Ham United v Derby County Match Thread
A few pages back I posted that I wan't feeling optimistic about this one, as we are the form team and Derby have gone totally off the boil, I guess it is because we are getting closer or because the week is nearly finished. but I am growing more confident and have now changed my prediction to a 2-0 win.
Hows that for sitting on the fence!

he's a good finisher, he's quite big too. not much else to him, he fell out with Jewell last season.Eric wrote:Just seen that Derby have signed a STRIKER on loan from Ipswich.

I am kind of hoping for a decent refereeing performance for this game, not seen one yet this season for us!
Re: West Ham United v Derby County Match Thread
This has got draw written all over it for me.
We're yet to win three in a row, have dodgy home form and have lost or struggled against flagging teams on our turf.
Derby are on a bad run. Can see us lowering our game for them. Ever optimistic

He scores, gives assists on a regular basis for the national team. Has played for fizzy pop teams the last fiveish seasons.Eric wrote:He is NOT WANTED by Ipswich, so just hpw good can he be???
He scored a good goal against arsenal in the league cup.

Re: West Ham United v Derby County Match Thread
Derby have been in a bit of a tailspin recently and I reckon they'll be happy to emerge from E13 with a single point.
We're still hard to predict for me. We seem to have sufficient cover in most places (not too sure about the left side of things) and some plenty skillful performers, but sometimes the play is stifled and sluggish.
Would like to see little Sam get a full 90 in a front two, but just can't see that happening.
Good chance for a clean sheet, Shirley?

Re: West Ham United v Derby County Match Thread
2 nil please. we need it going into Tuesday...I'll be deliriously happy heading back from boro with four points out of these two games!
If we play like we did against bristol city we deserve to lose...really time that BFS put a team and formation out at UP that dictates the game from the start....and doesnt involve launching the ball into the box from the first minute
