This will help show West Ham that they need to work hard to win games, not just turn up and think coz we're West Ham, we'll win easily against teams like Burnley (no offence). Hopefully it will be a kick up the ar5e and just bring us down to earth a bit. This is why the championship is hard, as Southampton found out, bottom can beat top. Makes it exciting, anyway.

Sounded like overconfidence. We scored, thought it was in the bag, and stopped doing the simple things.

It's all deliberate tactics. To use an athletics metaphor, we want to be on the shoulder of the leader into the final bend, not leading where we can be shot at.
