We better get through - otherwise it's going to be a bit embarrassing for Budweiser!

Plays for our Development Squad mate think he's averaged a goal every 2 games, not bad for an 18 year old in his first year in England. He also seems to get a lot of assists, don't know how much but in match reports his name is always mentioned.Tarbs wrote:My favourite part is how every one, every week picks Brian f***ing Montenegro without having a clue who the f*** he is!
They're gonna have to be picked or they won't get their chance. I think it's a good thing that our fans have faith in our youngsters and are up to date with how they're progressing in the squad.

A lot of us have not seen him yet despite continuously reading good reports on him. It is natural we want to see him getting a chance. Recent performances of Potts and Nouble confirmed to us, that our youngsters should be considered and there is no reason to be too reluctant to give it to them. It must be said though that this must be done carefully and with sense and to place 7 youngsters in the FA Cup game may be contraproductive for the result as well as for themselves. I have full confidence in Big Sam, Anthony Carr and the whole managerial team though.
It does not change the fact, that I will still be looking forward to see more youngsters getting their chance and wish for more of their debuts in comming weeks.

Smonnie, what happened to poor old Diop? You had him 3 times in your first team, now he's not playing at all.

We've got no chance without the Diop triplets :lol:Denbighammer wrote:Smonnie, what happened to poor old Diop? You had him 3 times in your first team, now he's not playing at all.

Just noticed he's sneaked Carew in at Centre back too!

Re: Sheffield Wednesday v West Ham Utd: match thread
Assuming Spence can and will be recalled, I'd want him to start, to see if he's capable, could save us buying another defender, meaning we'd have more to spend on a tricky winger/playmaker/goalscorer.
Re: Sheffield Wednesday v West Ham Utd: match thread
I was ridiculed for his inclusion, so I dropped him.Denbighammer wrote:Smonnie, what happened to poor old Diop? You had him 3 times in your first team, now he's not playing at all.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday v West Ham Utd: match thread
Carew was always deputising at centre half back at Villa.Bamber Gascoigne wrote:

Well I toyed with putting Faubert there but I decided he didn't have enough pace.

Is there anyone else who would rather not play this game? Were 66/1 to win the cup on Coral.

We never won it in 80 by resting players, so why all this **** now?
