Stech
Spence Tomkins Reid McCartney

O'Neil Lansbury Noble Nolan Piquionne
Carew

A cup run is never to be sniffed at plus the board will be looking at it as a chance to make some money.

Sheff Wed are pretty good at Hillsborough and will be right up for this one, because of that I wouldn't put out too weak a side.

I'd give Stech one last chance to show if he's worth a new deal and keeping, I'd also recall Spence and play him at right back.

Hall and Nouble to get another run out off the bench.

From what Sam said yesterday, i expect Faye, Baldock and Lansbury to all start. O'Brien, Boffin, Potts, O'Neil and Carew are all likely to get some game time.
Tomkins, Cole, Greeno and Noble will probably get a rest.

With that in mind, i'd go for:

Image

Subs: Stech, Diop, Tomkins, Faubert, Hall, Carew, Montenegro

You must love pace, don't you?
Would definitely like to see Hall and Nouble getting the chance during the game, but they will hardly play together imo.

I'd rest Noble, Diop, Cole and Nolan & play Collison and Lansbury most certainly more centrally.

I'd like to give GON as many minutes as possible, same for Baldock.

Surely starting Carew would be a good thing to do as he'd have a point to prove hopefully too ??

I suppose 2 or 3 regulars, some youth and players who need minutes should start really. This fixture has come at a good time for us. Hopefully Taylor will be available as well as Faye and O'Neil. Give Nouble some more minutes and start Baldock to get his sharpness back.

-----------------------Green-----------------------------

Obrien--------Faye-----Reid-----------Potts

O'Neil-------Noble-----:Lansbury---Taylor

---------Baldock--------Nouble-----

If Taylor is not fit i would give that Montengro a run out to see what hes like.

In short: Australian (Melbourne) recently moved to Mile End. Best mate 4th-generation Hammers (posts here, not sure what handle) and he's been slowly indoctrinating me over many years . Most of our Hawthorn footy standing room songs flogged from you lot in one form or another. So it made sense to get properly involved upon arrival. Went along to the last few pre-Christmas matches at Upton Park up the top of the STB and (the Burnley capitulation notwithstanding) loved it & picked up a season ticket in the East Stand for the duration of the '11-12 season. This Sunday my first away-day. Cannot wait to get amongst it.
Congratulations on getting yourself involved in HELL ... that can now n then be HEAVEN ....

Saw Wednesday play on Monday, every ball goes out to Ben Marshall on the wing, he is quick, and caused Tranmere all sorts of problems, HOWEVER Nikky Weaver in goal, looks the has been that he is and it was more by Tranmere being poor and luck that Tranmere didn't nick it, Second half Wednesday were a shambles, If Sam cant scrape up a team to beat SWFC then he is in the wrong job, Ive seen better Sunday league teams, how Wednesday have not lost at home this season and are 2nd in the league is beyond me

Lol or trys to start Hall/Nouble/Montano/every other youngster we have under the sun, if it was up to some people we would turn out with a youth team, if there good enough for T.Carr there good enough for me. Headbanger

Green

O'Brien
Reid
Faye
Potts

O'Neil
Nolan
Noble
Collison

Baldock
Carew

I think we will line up similar to the above. Reid, O'Neil and Baldock need match fitness. BFS will play Nolan as he is our leader and he selected him against Aldershot in the CC.
