You folks reckon the tube is a better bet to station or bus? usually takes some time to get out of UP.... Last time I walked to Stratford and tubed fom there... Any advice gratefully received ladies & gents

Get the Underground to and from Upton Park, a bus would take hours. Have a look on the journey planner on the London Underground website, put the date of travel in and it will to sort out your route allowing for any engineering work.

After the game walk to either Plaistow or East Ham Stations. Either are loads nearer than Stratford.

No !!
As he says, after the game use either Plaistow or East Ham, not Upton Park. the queues at UP are horrendous.

This is the game that we can heap the pressure on Southampton. If we win they will know they have to win on Monday night and we could see them start to crack.

That said, we're west ham. We won't win.

Green
Faubert Reid Tomkins McCartney
Diop
Noble Collison
Nolan
Baldock Cole

4-0, 3 points clear at the top, vastly improving our goal difference (We are improving it aren't we bobcar?) Southampton under pressure for their game on Monday. Baldock x2, Noble (pen), Cole. Reid will earn the penalty, 3 in 3 games.

had this down as a win two weeks ago but this unbridled optimism is worrying me and as a result i wouldn't be surprised to see a draw. also expect forest to try and park the bus and we've not done that well against that tactic at home (in the sense of the 2's and 3's some posters seem confident of)

reckon sam will drop the bear to right back and drop o'brien for baldock.....his interchangable 4-4-2/4-5-1

C'mon Stubbsy, you'd miss Carltinho's fare-well hat-trick!

Part of me thinks we should walk over them and we all leave happy, part of me (which hates the Fat Sam approach to football with a vengeance) fears that I will find that my team have morphed into Bolton and I will join the haters who condemn each 1-0 win for not being entertaining enough, and part of me is worried that my wife, who is due to give birth on 5 February, will go into labour early and I'll have to miss the whole thing. Those of you who go to every game don't understand the extra stress that us part-timers face.
If I were you I would get right on to the local curry house. 5 days of vindaloo should avoid the horror that is our home form.

Chance to go top and put pressure on saints, at home to a struggling team, who have scored 1 goal in 8 games? Everyone ready to see the "West Ham way"

First post so may as well make it a positive one.....

I think we'll cruise past Forrest as they are struggling in this league.

We're maybe not playing classy football but results speak for themselves and BFS has got us difficult to beat.

Think that if we could pick up another (decent) striker in the Jan transfer window we could kick on and start puting away the chances we are creating in front of goal.

Go 442 at home in this one and it's a sure fire 3 or 4 nil IMO

Take your kids to the playpark instead enjoy their joy, you won't have to work all week to afford a ticket and you'll probably have much more fun, a lot of you need to find your spirit again, your all so down with everything.

Getting the full team back again expecting further improvement.
