Very good time to be playing them.
4-0 I reckon. They couldn't even beat Southampton at home ffs.

Some teams find it easier to win away, I think I know one myself.Scaloni Is The Messiah wrote:Very good time to be playing them.

Looking at their results, they do seem better away from home, beat Ipswich 1-3 last time out.dapablo wrote:

Then again, they are pretty sh*t and they'll be missing Chambers, their best Centre Back.
Time to let Baldock of the leash!

We could have Chambers Potts as a defensive pairing.

I hate that line up Sam played today. It gets the job done but f*** me it's boring
Play Baldock from the start and give Montano a run out if he's back

We don't score that many goals. I'm expecting another tight, edgy, nerve tingling 1-0 to be honest

Fully fit squad for this one, be great to have Matty Taylor back, we miss his delivery. It's all coming together at the right time injury wise (fingers and toes firmly crossed), I am confident we will take top spot this month and when we do, won't look back.
West Ham 3-1 Forest
West Ham 3-1 Forest

Green
O'Brien, Tomkins, Faye, Linda
Faubert, Nolan, Noble, Taylor
Baldock, Cole
Subs: GK, Reid, O'Neil, Collison, Hall
4-4-2, go at 'em right from the start.
Will it happen? Very much doubt it.

I didn't go to the game today and wasn't commenting on today's performance. I just generally don't like the line up due to lack of pace and creativity. There isn't a single player who excites me when they pick the ball up. It doesn't make for good viewing imodapablo wrote: Don't talk tosh, it was far from boring, for the radio, just re-read the thread.

I heard we had two shots on goal today so I very much doubt we put in an exciting display

Tomkins and Reid at the back, Baldock and Cole upfront, and we should win this one.

Re: West Ham v Nottingham Forest match thread
Why is everyone dropping Reid, who has returned well from injury, won us the penalty, and is improving after injury, for Faye who hasn't even come back from injury and has been missing for weeks?
Re: West Ham v Nottingham Forest match thread
Because Faye is better.thejackhammer wrote:Why is everyone dropping Reid, who has returned well from injury, won us the penalty, and is improving after injury, for Faye who hasn't even come back from injury and has been missing for weeks?

Re: West Ham v Nottingham Forest match thread
This will be my first game at the Boleyn for two years. Part of me thinks we should walk over them and we all leave happy, part of me (which hates the Fat Sam approach to football with a vengeance) fears that I will find that my team have morphed into Bolton and I will join the haters who condemn each 1-0 win for not being entertaining enough, and part of me is worried that my wife, who is due to give birth on 5 February, will go into labour early and I'll have to miss the whole thing. Those of you who go to every game don't understand the extra stress that us part-timers face.
