After I saw you in that first boozer Romford, I got kicked out of the Wetherspoons for having my scarf on. However this was after We had already had two pints, and wanted to order some food. The first lass who served us asked me politely to hide my scarf a bit and I tucked it under my coat as best I could, the second slapper refused point blank to serve me because I was West Ham, and when I responded with 'f*** me luv, we've already had two pints' she says 'right you've sworn at me you definately won't be served now, leave before I call the old bill'.' I said 'f*** it you weren't gonna serve me anyway' and left. I hope her old man backs over 'er with his tractor.

It goes well beyond just Green helping the defence out, imo
Diop protects them very well when he plays, Faubert (if played in his proper position) & Taylor, help out their FB's very well. We are for the most part pretty well organised

It also helps our defence if we can keep hold of the ball ourselves for more than 10 seconds, and even better if we can do that in the oppositions half!

I was told by the Head Steward that "they were expecting trouble"

I told him that..

1. we hadn't had any trouble this season including Millwall

2. This was the family section and you had to have a child to get in here....hardly a place to kick off.

What a shocking way for ITFC and the Suffolk Plod to Police our family section.

I wonder if the Locals got treated the same way in their family area ??

As someone stated before our results since December have been shambolic and I still hear but we are top of the league . !
3 attacking signings playing in a defensive team .
Hope I'm wrong
Big up to all who went last night top supporters to watch that shower of *****

It's them having an attitude like that, that incites and winds people up.

And the really sad fact was that it wasn't needed....all totally uneeded.

After 20 mins...i'd had enough being treated like a mug.

Expecting, or inciting?!

FWIW, once again our support came over loud and clear on the wireless. (thumbs up!)
About the only thing that raised my spirits listening to that last night

Stewards were OTT, speaking to a colleague (tractor boy season ticket holder) it was to do with our stewards being over the top with them earlier on in the season allegedly???

Do not know if it is true or not, two wrongs do not make a right though.

Also slagged off their support for being quiet, he was shocked as he reckons they were the loudest they have been all season and reckoned we were quiet??? Must be the acoustics in the stadium since the upgrades to the stands as I always remember a decent atmosphere at Portman road :|

I remember years ago going over there on boxing day. Back then you had the away seats in one stand, and the away terrace on the other side of the pitch. Just after half time, my grandad pointed out this West Ham fan being kicked out. He was doing the full "old skool" eviction. Legs and arms flailing, police trying to grab on to his feet/wrists with all the West Ham chanting "Loyal Supporter". I got into work after the Christmas break, and was talking to our Credit Control Manager. Yep, it was him that had the eviction stretcher.
