Just got to Tower Hill when heard it was cancelled. Luckily hadn't bought train tickets yet.
Barnsley moved and now this. Will be midweek and no doubt at a date I can't get off work now.

They stayed last night up there - but as it's a work day for them, they've now arrived back at the training ground to do some training.DownunderHammer wrote:Er.....where would the team be at this time..how/when do they travel to 'local' games

Is the frozen pitch Allardyce and Nolan's fault?

Noble and Cole will not be anywhere near the England squad.
I don't neccesarily agree btw .I think we may see quite a few new faces - almost a trial match if you get my drift .
Pearce won't be expecting to be the England Manager for too long and he may use this to showcase younger talent .
I don't expect to see Barry, Rio, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Gerrard........he may use it as a olive branch to club managers " I've given the senior players a rest given their CL committments for their clubs , and let the young lads take the strain" .........with the real agenda being piling pressure on whoever they appoint to dare to go back to the old guard .
Clear them all out, or at least most of them .Not good enough .
Hart, Richards, Walker ( even though he had a dodgy debut Bob ) , Jones, Smalling, Noble, Welbeck, Cleverley, Johnson, Rooney, Parker (c)....... give Oxlade Chamberlain a cap ....., have Carroll on the bench, Young etc etc
Pearce has nothing to lose by offing the pensioners .By leaving them all out he can't be called out by individuals .

I just asked David Gold on twitter @DavidGoldWHU I thought the pitch inspection was at 10.00am David??
His Reply It was -15 last night the pitch was frozen solid. DG fair enough

Saw this on Quins website!! Rugby still being played!
Looks like a relatively cheap way of making sure your pitch is playable if you cant afford undersoil heating!! Poor show by Posh, step up to the big boys league means you need to invest in more than shovels and brooms!!

All the things that money can't buy (well maybe an Aberdeen angus steak and a bigger bet) you're a lucky man.The Sherriff wrote:Gutted.
Was taking the old man today, we seldom go to games together anymore. Standing together on a terrace just like the old days on the North Bank. Fair play for calling it off early doors though.
Going to spend the day with my new born daughter, watch football and place a few bets. Mrs has promised me a steak dinner ce soir..

Not impressed with Sam today, if I'm honest.
Playing no strikers is just anti-football as far as I'm concerned.
