Re: Peterborough United V West Ham United Match Thread
First time for ages there's been genuine competition for starting places.
Two from Tomkins, Reid & Faye.
Collison or Taylor?
Faubert or O'Neil?
Two (or maybe one) from Cole, Baldock, Maynard & Vaz Te.
A drunken monkey would struggle to pick a side that wouldn't trouble Peterboro.

I actually wouldn't mind it being called off, cause I can't make it due to evening plans in London. I can't imagine i'm a majority though!

Re: Peterborough United V West Ham United Match Thread
My point is that Carew is dogshit and we have signed two forwards who have been scoring regularly this season. It is not compulsory to hump long balls forward and if you want to play two up front then have two match fit signings. Why would you not play them? If you think Carew is a good option then you clearly have not been going to games.riksdodgydeals wrote:clawhammer on Wed Feb 08, 2012 5:32 pm
I havent seen anything on Carew have we flogged him?? Do you mean the fact we have bought Maynard and Vaz Te...I forgot they are huge target men...

I do go to games but perhaps we just have different opinions...I like a 442 with a big man and pacey forward and if I were to rest Cole my other option would be Carew...I'm sure Vez Te is world class (?) but I dont think anyone should just walk in to the team and he wouldnt suit my formation

Peterborough CEO rates it as only a 25% chance of going ahead.

Re: Peterborough United V West Ham United Match Thread
slight glimmer of hope in the forecasters are saying they're quite "unsure" about the predicted snowfall. let's hope they get it wrong
just thinking about the other implications if the match were to be called off. if southampton win their game they'd be 1 point behind us and the pressure would firmly be on us going in to tuesday's game
better to have points on the board than games in hand imho
