Re: West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread
I reckon once maynard gets his first goal the flood gates will open. Apart from his finishing yesterday I was pleased with his effort and surely its just a matter of time before he finds his range. He just needs that first one to go in. Could this be the game?
Either way I am going for a 2-1 win to the mighty hammers...

I hope we go for it, with as much pace and power as possible. Watford are a big, physical side and knocking big hoofs at them will be meat and drink to them.
I'd play Maynard, Baldock upfront with Vaz Te and Faubert (if fit) out wide. Stretching them is the answer.

My thoughts exactly......win away at Cardiff and then slip up at home it's the West Ham way.Sweeney Bod wrote:A big week for the Irons. With Reading having two away games, Birmingham missing out on a round of games, and us with two homes against two frankly poor teams, we could have a chance of extending the difference in points, and hopefully negating any potential worries about Pompey going bust.
However this is West Ham

Got a horrible feeling that this game will go just like the Palace home game did last week. A big result away from home, gets all the fans excited then a massive let down draw against the likes of Watford! You heard it here first!

All about getting that early goal for me against Watford. If we can do that like at their place then it could be a few.
Baldock to start for me, time to make our squad count.

Middlesbrough don't seem to be bringing many down either by the looks of it.

450 tickets available on the day for them. So I'm guessing they have sold about 400.

To be fair, that's a two tube trains journey.

Re: West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread
I wonder if Sam may be tempted to give Nobes the evening off for this one ? He's been playing solidly since Saints away whilst the rest of the midfield have been getting periodic rests due to injuries and or suspensions .
Certainly be interesting to see what the rest of the side could do without him .
Either way , should be a regulation win by at least 2 clear goals I would think .
