Maybe not that precise team, but I would think Sam will go 4-4-2. I would hope for Cole and Balders up front. Taylor to come in for Collison... Would mean fewer players played out of position.
Maybe Sam will try and keep maynard up front in a 2, but we looked sharpest against Palace with Cole and Baldock up front, so dont see why he shouldnt repeat that. then can bring Maynard as a sub, to see how we plays with Sam.
We have a good squad and should use it. But I think nolan and noble needed for centre mid. Maybe can rest one next saturday...

Bristol City and Ipswich have already given us something to think about under lights at home this season, so I'm going to be cautiously optimistic and plump for a well earned 5-0 victory...another mob who will pack their defence for us to break down. A goal in the first 10 or 15 minutes will make all the difference and we could rack up a few. Would like us to improve our goal difference starting with this one....if things go to plan.
Tweak the formation to go 4-4-2; Cole up front with Maynard, but not too many changes to personnel. If we are going to rest a few, I'd prefer we did it in the Doncaster game.

I think however that there is a good spirit in the team generally and that he bought Vaz Te and Maynard for a reason. I therefore think that they will keep their places in the side and that Noble and Nolan and today's back 5 will too. I hope that one or both of them score in this match, to aid their confidence. Sometimes, just taking a chance confident that another will come along is all you need.
That leaves possible swaps for Lansbury or Collison, with maybe Taylor (if I've correctly counted how many games he's recently missed) or Faubert getting a start.
I still can't quite get my head around Baldock's position in the squad.
But, Ipswich aside, we've been steadily cementing our position in the automatic promotion slots, and I am increasingly trusting Big Sam to ensure promotion.

With the way things are poised, these games are a bit too soon perhaps. Depending on where we are, getting him playing in the last 6 might be good opportunity for a pop.
This looks on paper out easiest game for ages so we should absolutely rape these guys (to paraphrase Pards). We will too I think, Big 16-0 win coming up! Nolan Drop goal! Two tries for Vaz Te!

Expect them to park the bus. Baldocks movement could be the answer.
I too want to see Morrison feature, even if it's a cameo.
Why must Maynard be tired, he can't have played more than 65 minutes today?
I reckon it's all over for Faubert. He's had plenty of games, worked his socks off, but done nothing with the ball.
Now that Taylor, Nolan, O'Neil, Lansbury, Noble, Collison and Morrison (plus Diop when fit) are all fighting for 4 places, Faubert is in the same boat as Piq and Carew,
I thing Fat Sam will play the same starting XI as today against Watford. Maybe O'Neil for Collison. Maybe Cole for Maynard.
