I hope Reid is okay for this one. If so, stick Tomkins in the holding role & Reid & Faye at CB. If Diop is fit, maybe he can do that job & Tomka can stay in defence. If neither Reid or Diop are able to come in, I'd be inclined to play Potts at LB, move Linda into the middle, so Tomkins can play in midfield

I don't care what formation we play, whether we have 1, 2 or 3 strikers, we need someone to sit in front of our back 4. Which should allow the FB's to push on, and the other 5 players in midfield & attack can go about attacking Donny with gay abandon, knowing their arse is covered

I'd go:-
-----------Green
JOB-Reid-Faye-Linda
----Tomkins-Noble
Vaz Te-Nolan-Taylor
---------Maynard

I would go (if Reid is fit)....

-------------------Green----------------------
JOB--------Reid--------Faye--------Linda
-------------------Tomkins-----------------
-------------Noble-------Nolan-----------
Vaz---------------------------------Taylor
--------------------Cole---------------------

Subs: Lansbury, Faubert, Collison, Baldock, Maynard

Without Reid, drop Tomkins back into defence with Faye, move JOB into midfield and play Faubert at right back.

His work-rate improved slightly but his final product is still really quite terrible for the level he's playing at.. Stick him the development squad for a 1 or 2 games might give him the kick up the a*se he needs..

Taylor - Carew  - Vaz-Te up front for Doncaster imo... That's right i said Carew.

Hi all,

I've managed to get 2 seats together for £2 in the West Stand upper tier as I'm bringing my little bro to Doncaster. Does anybody know if I enter with my Adult ST in West Lower I can then go and sit with him in the Upper tier in one of the 'kids' tickets?

Cheers

What you could do is speak to the ticket office and get them to transfer your ST for that game up there.

Or you might be reliant on finding a friendly steward.

Thanks Beckton. Do you know if the turnstiles are the same? I go through 9-15 and sit in block AL9 and I've booked in AU8. Wondering if I could go through the turnstiles and go straight for the upper tier seats (saves about an hour on the line to the TO!)

Thanks for your help :crest:

Think we'll be back to our 4-2-3-1 (4141) for Saturday, which basically lets Nolan play further up the pitch as
second forward. Tomkins covering the back four and bringing the ball out from the back working with Noble.
Pretty much what we did when Nolan and Taylor were unavailable.

.....................Green.......................
JOB.........Reid........Faye......Linda
............Noble.........Tomkins..........
Vaz Te.........Nolan............Collison
..................Maynard......................

Subs: Lansbury (GK), O'Neil, Cole, Baldock, then out of Ravel/Faubert/Potts/Carew.

Let's see if we can score some goals please. Kevin Keegan "We're just going to score more goals than you score" style.

My youngest is back in England for a few days mainly for pie'n'mash and this game. Like him, I would not have Cole starting - if by 60 minutes we are 3 or more goals ahead then bring on Cole for some comic relief.

i am going for 2-2. a last minute equaliser for them.

i tried to get odds last night on west ham to not win another home league game this season, but couldn't get a price anywhere.

not that i would have taken it, just wondered what the odds would have been.
