Top spot not out of reach yet. Optimistic yes but no more outlandish than some of the negativity on here over the last few days...
That's the spirit !!

Got a feelin you may have called that right - I fancy Blackpool to beat them on saturday and us to beat Reading. Then see how they're squeekys are........!!

Well done fat Sam. For all your faults at home you have managed to create a team that does better on the road than any other in my life time. Great effort West Ham.

Was with some Soton fans last night, all giving it large. Such c****. They want to get promoted the same day as relegating Pompey.

Ah, thats what 3 points are like!

Great result and by the sound of it a terrific second half display. Top marks to our away army and credit where credit is due, top marks to BFS. More of the same on saturday please to really put the cat among the pigeons with Saint's LKO.

Rarely has a match thread been so extreme.
Absolute 'slit your wrists' unadultered negative depression first half with most of the team slagged off
Euphoria in the second

Funny what a goal does for confidence - both for players and fans

Reality is somewhere in between. Good result, good tactics, lots of work still to do.

For me I think or maybe hope that Reading will feel the pressure more than us on Saturday and so I just hope we will get into them straight off and rattle the cage.... I think no matter the line up the pyschology of the game will be key..

Just saw the goals on SSN, Taylor with the cross. Good to see O'Neil take a shot on as well from distance.

Well done.

What a flick that was from Nolan, that would of been a fantastic goal if it had gone in.

I can't wait to find out if he implemented the "dont let the other team in our half" tactic I read about on page3.
