I feel the highest scoring game of the season is going to happen tomorrow night .

Peterborough will attack , but they will leave space at the back .

Could be a 8 or 9 goal thriller .

Despite my reservations I'm inclined to agree for this one, bearing in mind he nearly ended up there.

Getting completely disilusioned this season. Probably didn't spell that word correctly either. I actually laughed hysterically when we equalised on Saturday.

Would love to see:-

----------------Green-------------------
JOB------Reid-----Tonks------Linda
--------------Noble---------------------
Faubert---------Nolan-------Vaz Te
-----------Baldock----Maynard-----

I have said many times on this forum that Nolan cannot play in a 4-4-2. I am still inclined to agree with that. However, we cannot afford to continue missing chances and as much as I think he has hindered the team's general play this season, he is never going to be dropped, and incoporating him in 4-4-2 is more important than sacrificing the second striker.

Hope we smash this lot, would set us up nicely for Reading. I fancy 0-2, Vaz Te & Nolan.

Could someone who was at the burnley match summerise what happened to the team after the changes at half time... formationwise.

How well did Baldock and Maynard work together? I didn't see it as i guess most of us didn't but would be good to know what others thought of the pairing. I've wanted these two to start at home for a while.

Also, when Carew came on, what was the formation then? Target man + 2 running strikers. Can't we incorporate that more? If it worked of course.

Enlighten me West Ham friends.

The three in midfield dominated more in this formation then compared to the normal 5.
I liked the way Nolan was playing right up off the front two aswell, worked really well with him winning the 2nd ball and little flick ons. Maynard and Baldock looked like they had been playing together all season, knowing exactly where eachother would want it, with little flicks and nice through balls to one and other.

And for the first time this season I think O'neill had a good game, he looked alot sharper and didn't stop all game.
Taylor and Cole were dire and deserved to be subbed, Id be gutted to see Cole start again this season.

Id start this way every game possibly switching Collison and Lansbury.
And obviously Faye for Collins when fit.

By this point we had gone all out long ball aiming to win the knock downs off Carew which more often then not we did, he set uopp Baldock with a lovely chest for a glorious chance aswell as having a couple of good chances on his own.

This would be my plan B if we were chasing the game, the earlier option worked great and is more then enough attacking IMO

And hopefully when he comes off the pitch with a hattrick and the match ball he would have won you over.

Perhaps we could get Di Canio back on loan from Swindon until the end of the season. He can play upfront on his own and he WILL score.

Don't get me started on the DI CANIO chanting.....is he still a Messiah after losing in the cup final??? Seen as hes got the Man CIty of League 2 he should win the poxy league!!!!!!! And singing his name as a dig at BFS doesn't help anything, I love the bloke and no doubt he will eventually be a great manager for us but not now! Hes the last thing we need!

Back on track lol

Where would you see VAZ TE fitting in, in that formation? I want him to start but can't see where? For O'neil?
