Can't wait to see if Reading fans actually bring socks to the game.

Utter cringeworthy.

If they do it'll just prove what a bunch of one-eyes they are.

I can see logic in Sam setting us up for the draw.

Losing to Reading will have a 'six pointer' impact; they could afford to draw a couple, if they double us.

After we were subjected to a plague of these six-toers on here a few years back, I want us to beat them more than anyone this season regardless of the importance of the game. With the exception of 'Wall, naturally.

I expect them to come looking for the draw more than going for the win - they won't want to hand us back a points initiative and an increasingly better goal difference. I don't expect them to be any different to many of the other teams that have come to the Boleyn looking for a draw, on the chance they could catch us on the counter.

I think we'll start against these as we did against Soton; put them under the cosh early, test their resolve and nerve with the Boleyn crowd baying for their blood.

This lot are going to choke and they won't be able to cope with us - massive game, really looking forward to this one; 3-0 Irons :crest:

Same team as started the second half tonight, I think. Unless Faye is fit again, then obviously he comes in for Collins.

But I definitely think a 451 with Faubert and McCartney as fullbacks and Taylor and Vaz Te wide is our best set up at the moment, and I think it will be good enough to beat Reading.

HUGE game. Biggest of the season so far. I'm getting nervous already.

After last night, I can not wait for this! Hopefully the moaners will bite their lip after a cracking 3 points on the road in the week. They should know the importance of a win (didn't stop them at the Middlesborough game) and with a sold out away end it should make for a cracking atmosphere.

Got my ticket for this and looking forward to a good game.

Reading have always had a bit of needle about them, I can remember being at Upton Park in early September back in 06/07 and they scored early on and beat us 1-0.

Their flash in the pan Korean winger must have taken about 2 minutes to stroll off the pitch after being subbed. The whole place went mental at him.

The ideal scenario is for us to get the 3 points and then we'll see how well they like the pressure of playing catch up, especially with away trips to Southampton and Brighton coming up for them.

Couldn't agree more.

And I actually give Collison right for that challenge to Kebe's knee. He asked for it. You simply cannot do that. It's not fair play, it's disgusting. And I'd say the same if any of our players did that. Unless it's on Saturday, we're winning 2-0 in 88' and Morrison pulls up his socks like a f*cking boss.

Arrogant, completely up their own arses, full of themselves and trying to create a rivalry that in their wildest dreams isn't there would be my guess.

ENORMOUS GAME
No booing
Full and unreserved support
Class will tell
Irons 2 (Carlton back on the score sheet with fans cheering him on) Reading 0 (Tonk brilliant, Green sensational)
It will happen - but only with the crowd behind them

Earlier in the season, when they were beating us, Kebe pulled up his socks to take the piss whilst the ball was at his feet. Collison then run over and got sent off for his challenge on Kebe. Think it's some sad love in to Kebe and his sock antics. ****ers.

Weakest, most half-hearted attempt at an old school challenge I've ever seen. If that ****er had tried that muggy move with Dicks he would have lost both knee caps. Jack is a good boy.

Can't make this game .

A draw will be ok , a win fantastic , a defeat catastrophic , so I'd expect 4-5-1 without the ball , 4-3-3 with it .
