And if not to prove the point...they like to give it out but :

I have never seen such a wingeing timewasting bunch of mugs at the BG...ever.

Imagine how his missus feels?Romford wrote:Harte's dead balls caused grief all day
I know this won't be popular, but today after a hell of a depressive morning/afternoon, I actually feel sorry for Sam, and the players. A bit like when Spurs mugged us at the beginning of the great escape. We didn't play with that intensity etc. but we did give it our all. Sam must be wondering if he is jinxed at the BG. 1 up after 7 mins, bossed the entire first half apart from 3 minutes, then 1 - 2 down. We nearly equalized before half time too in that scramble from a corner. But we didn't!
I know it's probably fruitless optimism (but better than defeatist pessimism IMO), but isn't just the West Ham way to now win our remaining games and watch Soton slip out of contention.

I thought the timewasting was comfortably eclipsed by that Stoke game on Boxing Day (?) a few years back. The complaining to the ref reminded me of Arsenal with Ljungberg, Bergkamp, Adams etc.Romford wrote:I have never seen such a wingeing timewasting bunch of mugs at the BG...ever.

I can't believe the demonising of a perfectly average set of supporters. Even making an issue of them not visiting a particular pub.

Is it too early to say he was my 1st choice to replace Uncle Avram back in May '11 (check the Manager XIV POLL Two thread).Up the Junction wrote:Forgot to mention - Brian McDermott is a credit to the game and that tinpot club don't deserve him.
I may have mentioned Kenny Jackett as well.

Maybe a "little" dig there ??
Yes they did, but sometimes in football you have to [dig in]. When we go away from home we don't just get behind the ball, we're trying to win games and it's never going to be easy coming here. You saw that; we tried to score goals in the second half and try to play football that's attractive to watch so we're very happy today.

Went to Reading...will repeat "an average bunch of supporters" not deserving of the bile.
A whole bunch of people living about the same distance from central London as us are bound to have a few morons..same as us.
And I would be amused if we threw socks after the Kebe incident if the situation had been reversed.

Other than what I have posted in the Allardyce thread, I would like to point out that Jason Roberts is a fouling, cheating **** and is terrible. Same goes for Hunt.
Reading were average, nothing more. We **** it.
Their fans...total bellends.

Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread
Well done. He is and being on a yellow card for most of the game and then a teling off from ref, Chris Foy shortly after half time, I for one, didn't expect him to last the match. Had our players acted with bit more savvy, we could have had him sent offBillydinho wrote: Other than what I have posted in the Allardyce thread, I would like to point out that Jason Roberts is a fouling, cheating **** and is terrible. Strange one, isn't it. The racism thing seems to be a bit of a recurring theme with them; you may or may not recall the lad who came on here mouthing off who, when we contacted his ISP, turned out to be 15 and posting from a school computer...Romford wrote:Isn't it odd how the club we have most problems with behavior over the years on KUMB is not Millwall, Chelsea, Manure but...
