Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
Am back up north and went out with my Barnsley mates last night, they reckon they are gonna get destroyed by us so I'm hoping for a 3-0 win at least.
Knowing us though, it'll be 1-1 after leading for most of the match

Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
We should really go out and play with no fear now. We would have to have an implosion of the highest order not to make the play offs and Reading and Saints are now nailed on favourites for the auto spots so we should go out, no fear, enjoy our football and look to actually win games rather than try not to lose them.
I may be biased but I really do believe on paper we have got the best side in this division so am bitterly disappointed we find ourselves in this position

Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
the pressure is off now as its almost certain we will be playing in the play offs. The big fat dirty northern monkey wants 6 straight wins which hopefully means we might start playing two up front from the start.
For me Taylor has been very poor recently i would personally drop him to the bench in favour of maynard with JOB coming back in in for Faubert. 4-4-2 now all the way to Wembley.

Lansbury gets in the squad because of the keeper situation...
BFS clearly dont rate him and that was clear yesterday when he put Tomkins forward which IMO took us ot the game.
Joke Lansbury runs it in the U21s and we'll lose him at the end of the season regardless to someone like Reading, proberly on a permanet contract.

Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
would love to see
faubert tonks faye potts
--------- noble
Oneil------ taylor
--------nolan
Maynard Baldock
but think hel stick to 4-5-1 then wonder why we dont score many , even though we have 1 striker
Reading may not have created as much to start with but when they did they had 2 against 4 , if they played 1 up top hunt would never been where he was for there 2nd goal

Having watched us on Saturday its now time to get some balls and bin this three centre back **** which does nothing. Noble is out for the Easter weekend but we've got nothing to lose now really so lets just go for it! Diop and Demel return!
Green
Demel Tomkins Faye McCartney
Vaz Te Diop Nolan Taylor
Cole Maynard
Subs: Reid, Lansbury, Faubert, Baldock, Carew

Heard there's only 1 block for this left (in the away end). Superb following.

Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
If this is true I will be ecstatic. Bought my tickets this morning but forgot to ask how many we've sold. However, i was on hold for about 15 mnutes with 20 odd people in the "queue" so hopefully they were all buying tickets for Friday!claretnblueglasses wrote:Heard there's only 1 block for this left (in the away end). Re: Barnsley v West Ham United: Match Thread
I'm going for a narrow victory, but a victory nonetheless. I'll also stick my neck out and say that at least one, if not both, of Southampton and Reading will have a major wobble between now and the end of the season, and if (I know, big 'if') we win our remaining games, we'll go straight up. That's right, I'm playing the mindless optimism card, because it's the only optimistic card I have left. COYI!
