Ball will be zipping around the surface in that case....pace and movement with the ball played into feet with a brief to shoot on sight.
I also hope that this message gets to the players too...and they make sure they're wearing the right studs on their boots - we can't afford slip ups at crucial moments.

Every one of our players will take to the pitch with musically instruments and play them throughout the 90 minutes while Birmingham pass the ball around us and win with ease
Who's scenario is more likely? I'd say mine

every game is big now brum love putting one over on us and seem to do it regularly.surely it is our turn tomorrow to get a good home win under our belts" COME ON YOU IRONS"lets play our part to tomorrow lads i feel the boys are gonna need every bit of help we can give them. :raver:
Hope Sam has finally realized he has got a team that is better than most in this division, something he has nevber had before. So he can forget his long ball blue print which would work better at teams like Watford (remember Graham cabbagehead Taylor) or Barnsley, but with us we have the players that don't need his blueprint. Pass the ball and movement.
If we don't concentrate on that big lump Zigic and play our normal game we should get over the line at 1 - 0 or 2 - 1. Soton to lose to Palace and that'd be lovely

Seeing as we have been top 2/3 virtually all season I think Sam realises this. But if he didn't I don't think he is going to change his mind after a 4-0 win at Barnsley.
I hate playing Birmingham. They are always stubborn, well-drilled and difficult to score against. A bit like Stoke. Really frustrating to play against. Unless we get a couple of early goals I can't see us winning this one. Draw for me. 1-1. I hope I am wrong....
Picture the scenrio. 93rd minute, 0-0, one last attack from us, cross into their box and one of our player' s go's down under a challenge, blatant dive, but will you be complaining when ref points to the spot ?

I'd be disappointed in the player, and a bit embarrassed (as I was when Etherington and Di Michele dived). I certainly wouldn't complain though.

I'm looking forward to this game. I predict a decent atmosphere today also.
As Birmingham will be coming to U P today, looking to finish as high as they can, I don't think they will come with the sole intent of just grabbing a point and trying to stop us from playing. I think they will come wanting to get all 3, so I think this will be quite an open game. Even more open, should we score first. We might even see a 3-2 today

Now you mention it, who hasn't scored that has played regularly, bar Green? Potts, but he hasn't played much at all.
If you take away the penalties, Noble's had the worst scoring record this season given his position and game time - the Barnsley chip was his first from open play this season. But pretty much everyone has scored that's played more than a handful of games. Find it weird to see Parker's name on the list of scorers - seems like an age ago now
