Not sure why we're discussing penalties on this thread, penalties will only come into effect for the 2nd leg, surely.
,
as far as team selection, I'd like to see Collison in over Lansbury. He looked like he'd found his touch against Leicester, not sure why he was on the bench yesterday

What I want is a decent result away and bring it back to our place THEN create the same atmosphere as the famous Ipswich match, we will stuff 'em if the fans can do that.

What's the situation with the tickets??
Me and one other are planning on going on Thursday, i know we have to get tickets from service station but the person i'll be with isn't the person that applied for the ticket. Will that matter?? They're not asking for ID or anything to hand over tickets are they??

A 0-2 win in Cardiff followed by a 1-1 draw at the Boelyn.
Then a 3-1 win against Blackpool in the final.
Happy days!

Although Blackpool will give this one hellava go, even give Brum a few shocks along the way, it will still be Birmingham who make the final matesimon hammer wrote:A 0-2 win in Cardiff followed by a 1-1 draw at the Boelyn.

Does anyone know what service station they issue the tickets at and what time you can pick them up? I'm driving up and staying overnight after the game (provided the ticket office don't f*** up my PP application again).

As a longtime West Ham fan I'm naturaly a glass half empty type when it comes to my football team. Something strange seems to have happened though - I think we will get promotion after all.
The Chubby Lad seems to have settled on his preferred team (at last) and I think we are looking strong. Dont worry about the second half showing yesterday - there was nothing really to play for and everything fell flat. With a few rubs of the green (calm down greeno i dont mean that) we can beat any of the teams left in the playoffs.
Anyway, just off to try and get my ticket sorted for the cardiff game.
Keep the faith people - COYI.

Re: Cardiff City v West Ham Utd: (play off) match thread
Form is on our side; we have only lost 1 in 3 months (to the best team in the league)
Scoring wont be a problem, we have won 4 in 6 scoring an average of 3 per game.
We have an experienced team with some bottle and a manager who has been there and done that. The only thing in our way is making a big mistake (i.e. an early red) but we have seen an improvement in discipline recently so I am not too worried about that.
Enjoy the playoff's anyone lucky enough to go

How does this bubble service work? Do you have to get a coach on Thursday?

You collect your tickets at a Service station a couple of hours before the game starts...they are trying to stop people going on the pi$$ in the City CentreThe Gibbins wrote:How does this bubble service work? Do you have to get a coach on Thursday?

Cheers I was thinking by reading the site you would have to get the coach. Thats cool as i would rather look into other alternatives before taking a plunge on the coach.
Re: Cardiff City v West Ham Utd: (play off) match thread
Blackpool fan here, good luck against the Welsh and hope we meet you at Wembley although will be tough against Birmingham. If we don't go up just hope it's you.
Would be nice to beat you last minute so I can meet my cousin after and repay the crap he gave me after you beat us 4-1 with 10 men at Bloomers
