Did anyone count how many passes we strung together before pushing it forward for Maynard to tonk it in? It seemed like 30-40 to me.

I only got back from work in time to catch the second half, by when I think it had already been settled, however it was still great to see total control and confidence and imagination in a West Ham side - it's been a while since I think we can have said that!

COYI . . . . . we could take anyone on in that form!

Another great performance with 2 cracking strikes from Vaz Te and Maynard.

We have played some great stuff since the Peterborough game, maybe the 'play on the floor' song did get to Fat Sam because we have been a different team since then, bar 47 minutes against Reading..

BTW deadly scenes at Blackburn in that division wot we aspire to.....

2006:
There is a chicken, draped in a Blackburn Rovers flag, on the Ewood Park pitch.2008:

2007:
No, I'm not making this up. The chicken is running around Ali Al Habsi's penalty area, evading Yakubu's attempts to catch it. I don't think our feathered friend is a fan of the Venky's, do you?

2008
Yes, I know there will be cries of fowl play but this match is back under way. The chicken was cornered by Ali Al Habsi and Yakubu and the Wigan keeper eventually caught it in his goal net before it was carried off by a steward... hopefully it won't end up as his tea
.

Dont have that sorta messing in the fizzy!

Great thoroughly professional performance today. Well done to Sam and all the lads. Some great goals as well. Just a small mention though to Winston Reid who has improved no end since the shaky start to his West Ham career. Looks a decent solid centre half now and him & Tomkins look pretty good together.
I've also got to say what a great job Malky Mackay has done at Cardiff since they lost so many of their top players last summer. Fair play to the guy. And that's coming from a Swansea boy!

It was funny watching thinking " this is west ham we will make hard work of this!"
Not a chance, flawless, but a tad boring! Lol
Great performances over the 2 legs.
Roll on wembley and without being to over confident think we could win the final 5-0 whoever we play,
Be confident have faith, I think we now have a manager and back room team that will deliver!
