I get excited thinking about what Jarvis and Vaz Te can do with Yossi playing them in, rather than Collins launching it at them. We need to find a way to get all three on the pitch, especially at home. People dropping Vaz Te after one poor game I think are missing the bigger picture.

Holy cow.... it's only Tuesday and we're at page 5... everyone's keen I guess....
With all the new signings this summer BFSam is no doubt still sizing up what combinations work best. Hopefully there will be one or two nice surprises this season. It would be great to see team confidence raise big time. It affects all players. Nice that we have got some players now who are mobile too!!

I dont think CC has what it takes for us upfront. I like the guy but season after season he doesnt put them away. I would use him as a sub to change the game slightly.

Chuck Maiga upfront and use CC as a sub in the second half

The flaw in that plan - at least at present - is that Maiga also might struggle in the loan striker role.

I say 'at present' because Maiga's only had limited pitch time, but, in terms of the next handful of games, he's the only other option we have. A pessimistic view is that we will have a low-scoring season.

same team for me ok we didnt score but thats not how Sam sets things up away from home, if Taylor and Vaz are poor again tho we can bring on Jarvis or Yossi either side, maybe even at half time

Vaz Te and Taylor have had their chance but it's time to give Yossi and Jarvis a proper run out now.

Yossi should start this one for me. Bit of quality on the ball and we shouldn't struggle physically against Sunderland

Would be inclined to give Vaz Te some time up front.
Something like:-

-------------Jussi
Demel-Reid-Ginge-JOB (assuming Linda isn't ready)
-------Diame-Noble
Yossi----Nolan----Jarvis
-----------Vaz Te

I think Catermole is decent myself. But then l've always enjoyed watching the Catermole, De Jong type player. Too many fairies in football for my liking

Stick Carroll up front when he's fit and that looks about the best team we've had for years. Stil feel a bit sorry for Tomkins but with us defending well at the moment he's having to bide his time. Our whole bench is looking pretty strong to be honest.

That's also what I would go for but it seems BFS just doesn't see RVT as a striker. 2-0.

Tough opponents who have proved hard to beat so far this season, if our defence stays strong again we'll get a decent result.
