Norwich City 3-1 West Ham Utd (09/11/13)

Post by mumbles87 »

Havent seen one created yet so thought id put something out.

Date: 9th november 2013, Time: 17:30 kick off

Live on sky sports saturday night football.

Ground: Carrow Road, Norwich (Capacity 27,260)

Nearest station is Norwich Station which is 0.6 mile walk. (really easy to get to and from the ground on foot)

Not far from the station is Riverside shopping complex which includes resturants (including a Nandos and a Frankie and bennys) along with a few pubs just down the road.

Norwich is a lovely City so if getting down there in the morning there is plenty of things to keep you busy and its all accessable via foot from the station.

Last time out for both teams.

Norwich City: lost 7-0 away to manchester city. Looked very poor at the back and were punished by a strong city team.

line up: 01 Ruddy 02 Martin 23 Olsson 04 Johnson 06 Turner 05 Bassong 03 Whittaker (Murphy - 45' ) 08 Howson 11 Hooper (Elmander - 45' ) 10 Fer 12 Pilkington

West Ham United: drew 0-0 at home against Villa. Defended well and created a lot of attacks however villa themseleves defended well.

Line up :22 Jääskeläinen 20 Demel 08 Rat (Diamé - 90' ) 10 Collison (Cole - 63' ) 05 Tomkins 02 Reid 23 Downing 16 Noble 15 Morrison 04 Nolan 07 Jarvis (Cole - 62' )

My prediction 0-2 to West Ham.

Win Loose or Draw it will still be a good day out in Norwich. I managed to secure 3 tickets as my younger sister stayed in norwich after finishing Uni so its an excuse to see her whilst watching a good game of football.

Feel free to add further info to this as its my first one and was unsure what would be required.

This has got to be a must win game for us, purely for the sense that we need to increase that gap between Norwich and us who are only 2 points away.

No doubt they'll be looking to bounce back after yesterday though, I'm going for 1-1 but really hope we beat them.

Making the trip up for this one as I did last season - was a goalless draw then and I have a feeling it could be the same again. Will be interesting to see if Hughton is still in his job by then...

Hoping they don't sack Hughton before we get there - last think I want is a rebound result from a new manager!

They were an absolute shambles in defence and midfield yesterday, and they can't score. If we can achieve a miracle and actually get the ball in the net, they'll fall apart.

I expect same as last year - another 0.0 draw which we could have won if we were a bit more adventurous.

If there is any team I wouldn't want to play its a team that's just been stuffed 7-0 in their last game, whoever the are, you will almost certainly get a reaction from them

I can't disagree with a 0-0 prediction.

I reckon that'll still be enough to see Houghton go.

Agree. They'll be bang up for this. Hughton's job will be on the line

I don't think it'll be easy at all

A plethora of good pubs, an easy trip on the train for me. Locals who you can engage with. Nice place. Grounds not shabby and should you wish to stay over plenty to do whatever age you are

I'll agree with all of those. I always attach abut 90% of the weight in the equation to atmosphere etc. Carrow Road never did much for me, certainly in comparison to many others, on that front.
