COC QF: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 West Ham Utd (18/12/13)
This game is a one off. League form is irrelevant. A cup quarter final against one of our fiercest rivals. 5000 hammers roaring the team on. We want to see some fight, some belief, some intent, some pride in the shirt. 11 players on a mission to Wembley.
f*** league games against Sunderland and the like, these are the games we look forward to.
IRONS!

Absolute trashing coming up to a 2nd string spurs team playing a 3rd rate WHU team
"Now we have a relegation battle and, although we are still in both the cups, I don't know if the manager will want to play his strongest teams because it is vital that we get points."

Backs to the wall and nothing to lose.
I intend filling a couple of miniature bottles with Remy Martin XO as insurance.

I will take anything mate! Anything at all. A goal off of Carlton's ass would do.Ritchi101 wrote:Not sure about Miaga, but after today's mazy run i'm going for Tomkins 1-0

Four or Five nil to them in all probability.
We're missing too many key bodies.

If Allardyce doesn't care anymore, this will be a step closer to his dismissal. On the other side, it's a great opportunity for him to win some fans back and prolong his stay as WHU manager. Spurs won't play their best side but their weakened side is there there with our best side (on the paper).

Wasn't the thread for the league game in October filled with people predicting apocalyptic score lines before the match started............

As mentioned before.... backs to the wall, nothing to lose. We know who's available to play and who's not, there should be no illusions of grandeur here.
0-0, win on penalties
0-0, win on penalties

3-1 Tottenham.
I don't care though, I was there in October and I will milk that for many a year to come due to the sheer hilarity of it.
