I will be somewhat furious if Vaz Te and Cole are named in the starting XI. That is all.

Demel....Tomkins...Reid....Cresswell
............Noble............Kouyate...........

....Downing.........................Jarvis.....
.........................Sakho......................

Can't accept Cole starting, he obviously will but I will be frustrated when he does. Hopefully Jarvis is back. 0-2 away win.

Change Sakho for Valencia, and I'd be quite happy with that indeed...unless of course we can also change Nolan for Morrison/Zarate, then I'd be VERY happy

I would choose Valencia too, but all things considered, Sakho is more match fit than Valencia.

Want Zarate to play a part in this one. Vaz Te out. Don't even mind Cole upfront.

Same team that started against Spurs, please. Tomkins in for Collins if possible. Otherwise Kouyate will have to move to CB and Diame will have to come into midfield.
Sakho to come on for Cole at half time. Valencia to come on for Vaz Te around the 60th minute.

I'm not sure Valencia will be able to play up top on his own, especially since he's still getting match fit.
I imagine Cole or Sakho will start.

It will be interesting to see if Vaz Te gets the nod again, looked very average against Tottenham.

Spurs owed us one from last season. We owe Palace one from last season. So all things being equal I think we will win this game.

1-2. Nolan and Downing to score.

...do me a favour. Pulis? Better than Sam?

And why on earth would Sam get the sack after one game?

Jenkinson......Tomkins..........Reid......Cresswell

I don't know how fit all of the above are but this is what I would like to see. I suspect we will see the same lineup as yesterday though.

This is a massively winnable game for us it will be made harder if Kouyate isn't in the middle though, jedinak is a good player but I don't think he would get any change from Kouyate, it does worry me that Allardyce said yesterday he doesn't want to be using Sahko and Valencia too much over the next few weeks, I don't think he fancies Zarate so it looks like it will be Cole and either Downing and Vaz or Diame, we're going to struggle again for goals if this happens and a game that is very much winnable will probably be decided by a palace set piece and us missing numerous chances, it's early days and we have injuries and players who are new and maybe not quite up to speed, but for me the best way of getting up to speed is to play, I really hope the manager doesn't become too stubborn for his own good over the coming weeks !

The only change he will make is the one forced on him by Collin's suspension. That means another start for Carlton ****ing Cole up top again, where once more, he will contribute the sum of nothing and no matter what the state of the game, still keep him on for at least 80 minutes.

This is the team I'd go for:

------------------------------------Adrian----------------------------------------

----Demel------------Tomkins---------Reid--------------Cresswell-------

-------------------------Kouyate---------Noble--------------------------------

------------------------------------Zarate-----------------------------------------

----Downing--------------------Sakho-----------------------Jarvis-----------

Subs: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Poyet, Diame, Nolan, Morrison, Valencia.

IF Tomkins isn't fit DON'T move Kouyate to Centre half again, as it's unfair on him. I would move Demel to Centre half and play O'Brien at right back. I'm sure Demel has played centre half a couple of times before he joined us.

Sadly this will be the team we'll play:

---------------------------------------Adrian--------------------------------------

----Demel-----------Kouyate--------------Reid--------------Cresswell----

--------------------------Diame---------------Noble----------------------------

--------------------------------------Nolan----------------------------------------

----Downing----------------------CFC---------------------------Jarvis-------

Subs: Jaaskelainen, Burke, O'Brien, Poyet, Vaz Te, Zarate/Valencia/Sakho.

The reason I have Zarate/Valencia/Sakho is because I guarantee you Big Sam will come up with an excuse to make sure one of those forwards will not make the bench. Kouyate will have to play at the back, which will weaken our midfield. Nolan & Cole will start once again, with a Cole playing EVERY week until Carroll is fit, whilst our 3 new back up forwards will only start in the Cup games.

FT: 1-0 Palace. They're another one of our many bogey teams. We'll make a mistake for the goal we concede & Cole & Nolan will miss chance after chance.

You can tell I am very optimistic
