FAC4: Liverpool 0-0 West Ham Utd (30/01/16)

Post by -DL- »

Saturday 30th Jan 2016

KO: 17:30

Live on BT Sport.

I'd happily take a draw and a replay back at The Boleyn Ground.

I'd be over the moon if we won at Anfield twice in one season and completed an historic hat-trick.

Byram is cup-tied. Jenkinson and Tomkins both have knocks. We've just loaned Knoyle out. O'Brien is on the way out?

Who can play RB?

Byram is cup-tied, before we see everyone naming teams with him in it.

I would play ginge at Cb with the way he is playing this season then either Ogbonna or Reid at Rb, then if one of them gets injured I would have Obiang on the bench to slot in as cover, I reckon we should be able to survive one game against a poor Liverpool side with those players

Can't see us changing formation for a tough game like this. I reckon Reid will play right back if Jenkinson and Tomkins are both out

Adrian
????, Collins, Reid, Cresswell
Song
Kouyate, Noble
Antonio, Enner, Payet

We'll do the treble over these, so poor defensively 2-1 win :scarfer:

From a selfish point of view, I would love a replay as Cup Games tend to give me a better chance of going over the Boleyn during this last season.

However, I would also love to smash them again at Anfield

The only game at Anfield I've missed in four years was back in August.

Got my tickets for this one, sorry gents.

Considering Tomkins was nearly available yesterday, I imagine he'll be fine for this.

I'd not play a few players who have played almost non-stop since December, like Noble, Collins, and Antonio.

As others have said I'm fairly sure Tomkins will be RB in this one and if Jenks can't make the bench I suppose Alex Pike would need to step up from U21 duty given Knoyle is oop norf.

Not sure what to expect from this game, Liverpool are a mixed bag all over the shop recently but I'd happily take a replay now even if fixtures become congested.

Hoping their additional game Tuesday takes its toll on a fragile squad , extra time would be nice and a couple of knocks

Never ever put Reid at RB, still having nightmares from the first time.

Randolph
Tomkins(If unfit O'Brien if he's still with us, then Pike or Chambers)-Collins-Ogbonna-Cresswell
Kouyate-Song
Antonio-Payet-Moses
Yilmaz (Valencia if he hasn't signed)

Subs - Adrian, Reid, Pike/Chambers, Noble, Obiang, Jelavic. Valencia/Belic

If we play like we did against Man City, I reckon it would be carnage, even a full strength Liverpool, but I'd prefer Klopp to play the same sort out of team he did against Exeter, is that likely? If he does I can see it being double figures :scarfer:
