You would put their support below arsenal and Liverpool supporters??UptonLeft wrote:
They’re the club with the twattiest support out there, worse than the red side of Manc (in the Ferguson years) or the Bermondsey berks.
However bad they are they have to go a long way to get anywhere close to these gonks

I think we’ve got a decent chance in this game, Tottenham have a few injury concerns at the moment. Vertongen is out, whilst Ali and Eriksen are doubts. You could argue ask Kane Eriksen is their most important player, so if we can keep Kane quiet we have a very good chance of getting something from the game.

I can stomach any result at the moment.
It is just nice to actually go into games with:
1) a midfield that is not simply bypassed;
2) defenders that can defend;
3) players making effort

Wow, I wish I had the time to actually sit there and think about how small time Tottenham are. :lol:Briggsy wrote:
Here's the original list. Hard to argue with 6,7,12,13,14 & 17
1) They are West Ham
2) They have only ever won 4 trophies.
3) They haven't won a trophy for 38 years
4) They think they are our rivals
5) Their all time hero ( Noble ) has NEVER managed to get in some pretty shitty England squads
6) They rent an athletics stadium
7) Their stadium in general
8) They have won 2 league games and this is their best season ever.
9) They thought being unbeaten in 4 was world beating
10) They haven't finished above us for years.
11) They got dumped out of Europa qualifiers by Astra Goo Goo TWICE.
12) They have lost more at their rented stadium than they have won.
13) They have to keep that stadium for another 97 years.
14) They pay Andy Carroll 100k a week.
15) In the last 2 seasons they finished 35 & 41 points behind us.
16) The only time they go to Europe is on their Holidays.
17) They are run by Karren Brady
18) They have a bubble making machine like the ones for kids parties.
19) They have a Boys of 86 reunion even though they won NOTHING that year.
20) They are West ham.

Difference is mate, Arsenal and Liverpool are actually big clubs. This mob pretend to be a big club when they're not even the biggest club on their own patch.[/quote]Tristan Shout wrote:

Absolutely. Don’t generally have a problem with Gooners, plus they gave us one of the most sublime sides the Premier League has ever seen when Henry, Pires, Viera etc were in their pomp. Not even the scousers bother me.
But Spurs, they’ve won f*** all, yet indeed think they’re a big club. Muppets the lot of ‘em.
Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Tottenham Hotspur: match thread (20/10)
It would be pretty easy to come up with an extensive list of reasons to, at the very least, dislike Spurs.
Obviously the fact that they care so little about West Ham will be backed up by the lack of terrible memes, excuses, or celebrations depending on the result.
My all time favourite Spursing was them singing “2-1 in your cup final” to us.... a mere seven days before we played in the actual FA Cup Final.
Quite keen on winning the Caramac cup incidentally. Which would make us as successful as they have been this century. There will be the obvious paradox of “not a real cup” and the fact that it’s all they’ve won since most of their players were born. Hopefully will induce some Scanners style head explosions.

I think most of us have complained on here about at least 15 of the 20 points on the list - could well be right on all 20. Like you said, hard to argue.Briggsy wrote:[Here's the original list. Hard to argue with 6,7,12,13,14 & 17
Bigger problem is that the list has a gaping hole - if he could add another 10 points ranting on about G&S I'd buy the bloke a beer.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Tottenham Hotspur: match thread (20/10)
lets hope all the hammers who have been away come back fully fit and ready for this one. a poor start and we will be in trouble. must start fast and at them for the full 90 mins.
big test for diop and Balbuena against moura and kane.
Arthur must defend properly in this one.
if we are on form we will do these if a little below then we will lose.
fab
zab diop Balbuena masuaka
noble rice obiang
yarmolenko arnie Anderson
subs Adrian fredericks cresswell ogbonna Snodgrass diagana Antonio
fab balbuena masuaka yarmolenko arnie have been away on international duty so their fitness levels should be ok.
midfield 3 have had no travelling and should be well rested.
I doubt carroll or hernandez will be ready for the bench maybe hernandez. if not antonio gets another chance which he currently does not deserve. diagana on bench for experience and last 10 mins ?
should be a good game and a great way to welcome west ham back after the dreary interbational break !

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Tottenham Hotspur: match thread (20/10)
Easy to make these lists:
1) Think they are world beaters even though they haven't won a trophy for 10 years.
2) Already talking about the league cup match as 'nothing' even though it's the only trophy they have won in over 25 years.
3) Have come to us twice when going for the title and lost both times.
4) Were involved in a 2 horse title race with Leicester, and came 3rd...
5) Talk about us going unbeaten as if we think we are brilliant, yet spoke about how brave and fantastic they were against Barcelona...yet still lost, and that's to a Barca team who failed to beat Girona and Leganes before this. They think putting pressure on a bigger team is a success. (Juventus last year aswell).
6) Been crying about having to play in the Europa League for years, and will get to return to it in a couple of months (Priceless).
7) They are c****
8) They are c****
9) They are c****
10) They are c****.
Please beat these ****ing tossers twice in a row. .

Brilliant, although you could've just posted 7-10 and it would have been equally as goodil_martello_di_genovesi wrote:Easy to make these lists:

If you can't beat them... join them...
**disclaimer for the likes of Modern, I am fully aware that a lot of these are absolute nonsense in equal measure as the WHU ones posted earlier... just a bit of tongue in cheek fun!

21) They are widely considered the most pathetic fan base in the game (aware that is generalising, as there are some decent and stand up ones among them) who like to goad opposition fans from behind the safety of a police line, or throw cups of p**s around and then film the reaction for YouTube so they can play the victim card.1) They are Spurs
2) They haven't won the league for nearly 60 years yet they insist they are contenders every year
3) They haven't won a trophy for 10 years and are never favourites to do so despite claiming they are nailed on
4) They think they are our 'cup final' and no other game all season matters to us
5) Their all time hero (Greaves) was kept out of the 1966 final side by a Hammer who scored a hat trick
6) They rent a red and white stadium that is murder to get to
7) Their stadium build in general
8) They have won f**k all and yet this is the best period ever for them
9) They thought being above Arsenal was world beating
10) They have finished in the top four three times and think they are 'up there' with Barca'
11) They get dumped out of Europe every season
12) We have a better record at their rented stadium than they do
13) They have to pay for their stadium for another 97 years.
14) They pay Moussa Sissoko 100k a week.
15) In the last 10 seasons they finished with the same trophies as us
16) The only time they go to Europe in the back end of the season is on their Holidays.
17) They are run by Daniel Levy
18) They have happy clappy flags for all to try and create an atmosphere at Wembley.
19) They have a Gazza reunion even though he signed for Lazio and smashed his leg up before he won anything with them
20) They are Spurs

Hernandez played an hour and scored (pen) against QPR in a behind closed doors game in the past week so I'd assume he will be fit enough to make the bench over Diangana.hammerman11 wrote: any news on carroll or Hernandez making the bench ?
Back-up keeper Adrian played the full 90 minutes for the home side as Javier Hernandez, in his first action since being struck down by glandular fever, scored from the penalty spot.
Other first teamers who played for the Hammers were Ryan Fredericks, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio and Lucas Perez.
Grady Diangana also played in the game and fellow U23s Joe Powell and Moses Makasi lined up in midfield. Reece Oxford came off the bench for the final half an hour, as did Vashon Neufville and Dan Kemp returning from injury.

Laughable. The same **** spouted by these muppets year after year. Excuse in early I see.
Doesn’t mean as much to their players...
Not a rivalry as Sky didn’t put the game on TV (First time in ages they haven’t).
Cup final b*llocks...
Hopefully we can beat them and send them into some sort of tailspin. ****ers.
