After the Cup game and the amount of dropped points in the last couple of games, anything less than a win is unacceptable in my eyes.

Agree. Burnley are pony and injuries, suspensions or not we really need to picking up three points.

Saturday is the start of “no excuse” season for me. Every loss so far this season can be somewhat legitimately argued away due to new manager, new players, new system, tough fixtures etc etc. But eventually you have to reach a point where the justification for defeat stops and we simply start getting the job done. We’re at that point now.

We really need a win. We have only won at home one in the league so far this season. We need to turn this around. We have some relatively easy games coming up (Man City aside) we should be picking up points.

It's so ironic though, just as we get to our 'easy run', we've now got our biggest injury list.
I get why people say we'll be ok BUT, we have got to start getting those points & now, with a threadbare squad.
Position wise, Burnley are so far not having the same season as last time (the curse of the Europa Cup?) but they are also hoping for their season to now start.

it's kiinda why teams need to put points on the board early doors.

injuries, suspensions catch up with paper thin squads.

plus there's the players who are on a rich vein of form and then go pony - and vice versa...

if there was a better team to play on Saturday, I don't know of one....

last year will be brought up in the media build up to this game and clips of the pitch invasion, the goals and more importantly all of those coins we so accurately lobbed in the director's direction which uncannily hit the mark.

Cresswell deserves a start after a fair few Masuaku f*** ups and I'd keep Anderson purely because they will sit back so hopefully he can do something special. Rest picks itself really.

A must win, I’m afraid. The results given the outlay have not been good enough and Burnley have been awful this season.

We desperately need 3 points, and a clean sheet. Believe it or not Burnley gave shipped 6 more goals than us, and scored 1 more. We have to attack them from the off, but I worry that we lack leadership without Noble.

I wouldn’t let Anderson take any corners, and have Rice try to keep a close eye on Robbie Brady.

It would be nice to get a bit of help from the officials or at least not to be the victims of terrible decisions.

I think that's the team with three strikers available to come on. I would love for a nice competent and energetic win. That team should be able to engineer a safe 2-0. But I fear it Burnley will fight like mad and Dyce will have worked out how to isolate Arnie and pack the midfield. Suspect it will be a long grind.
