I really think we're gonna do them... which probably means we wont.
I not sure how to handle these feelings of optimism and hope. Who'd have thought six months ago we'd be hammering out an Arsenal v The Hammers match thread, let alone one where the content is so confident of winning. What a journey we've been on!! We're so much stronger as a club for it!
Come On You Irons!!!!!!

I was going to go for 2-4 but then i found out cheating robert pires is out so they won't get any penalties.
So 2-2 it is.

I can't see us not scoring - got to be Teddy? - and i can't see them not scoring (set-piece) - so 1-1 for sure - I dream of us nicking it 2-1 as they push forward for the points - the nightmare is that they beat us 4-1 as we push forward to win and collapse as they counter-attack later on.

I'm actually shocked at myself for how confident I am going into this one. I would ****ing love it if we won tomorrow, I'd be ****ing ecstatic. A few gloating / arrogant messages already coming through from gooner mates, I'd give my left bolllock to win this one.
1-0 Sheringham is what my money's on.

At last some sense
A point will be a good result.
I look at it this way we need to beat the teams that will be below half way, the top 4 are or should be looked at as a bonus. THey dont really count.
Unless of course we bought Ronaldo at the weekend and i missed it?

Your being far to negative any team missing players like Ljunberg, Henry, Pires and possibly Bergkamp is going to feel it.
People said on here that they would have taken a draw last week at Fulham before the game I disagree 110% as we should be winning that game to stay up. Id take a point now for Arsenal though but I really do feel like we can nick a win here especially as our morale is so high right now

With our good start to the season and Arsenal's not so hot away form- I can understand the optimism but for me the mere fact that they are Arsenal I think will secure them a draw. Yes they will miss Henry, Ljungberg, Pires Vieira but we would be fools to dismiss the others merely because we feel good about ourselves.
Score draw.

Of course we could win, but expectation levels need to be realistic. IMHO.

we are the ultimate underdog, arse have all the pressure, after all they cant afford to get beaten by relagation favourites (up till a month ago anyway). We will be in our elliment!
3-2 !

This made me laugh...
You can be sure that Teddy Sheringham will be itching to be selected and take his opportunity to score against Arsenal again and kiss his 5th different badge in doing so!

Have to agree with Major, I would be more than happy with a draw and given the Arses injury problems I feel there's a good chance we could get one.
A win would probably result in alcoholic poisoning

Will Carroll start?? What is this I heard about a back problem??
Will Teddy start?? or will he be super-sub this time around??
Aliadiere will not play this game. Groin injury requiring surgery. He is exempt from this game anyway.
I think that we can, at least, draw this one.
2-2
