Post by Phil S »

Yossi on the left for Matty, with I suppose Newton on the right

Walker or Shaka
Scaloni
Gabbidon
Anton or Collins
Konch
Yossi
NRC
Mullins
Newton
Marlon
Ashton

wouldn't mind seeing Fletch play with Marlon on the right actually

bring it on

Shaka is injuried.
Etherington is doubtful.
I'd rather play Katan right midfield than play Newton.
Collins/Ward/Dailly to deputise for Anton if injuried..

Looking forward to the game already

Assuming Matty and Anton are out....

---------Shaka (or Walker)-----------
Newton - Gabbers - Collins - Konch
Marlon ---- Reo --- Mullins --- Yossi
--------Ashton--------Zamora--------

Bench: Bywater (or Walker), Daily, Scaloni, Katan, Sheringham

I think its safe to say Anton and Matty are out, missing Matty is a massive blow, however Man City have there injury concerns to which evens it up a little bit, Vassell is there only fit striker it seems and he is playing with a injury

Shaka
Lionel Collins Gabbs Konch
Harewood Reo Mullins Yossi
Ashton Zamora

IMO if were gonna win we will need a big game from Ashton or Zamora, one of em will have to fire.

City have a good home record but a squad weaker than ours with their injuries. Without Andy Cole and The Greek Fella, they'll struggle to score as Vassell's only asset is his pace. To me, this is the most important away game since Ipswich Play-Offs last season.

I didn't think he was that bad on the right - just didn't get linked up with Scaloni - and when he came inside he looked very dangerous - unfortunate to get taken off i thought.

I think we have to go for it:
Jimmy
Scaloni Daily Danny Konch
Marlon Nigel Mullins Yossi
Ashton Zamora

Collins Katan Newton Fletcher bywater

Sceptic Peg says; 'scoring draw and another night under the lights.' Would love to see us win it on the night though! The big miss if it's true imo is Matty and I have the funniest of feelings we might just see him play because of the effect his absence has on our left side. If he doesn't play though I'd like to see Clarke at left back and Konch play left mid as he will give us much more going forward. Still Marlon's on fire at the moment and that makes me confident.

Citeh fans seem pretty certain that they're going ot beat us on forums I've looked at. A tad overconfident, possibly?
