The count down to saturday is on cant wait to get the season started now and get in my seat on saturday at 3pm.

Not sure what our starting 11 will be as i still think pards will buy a player or 2 but im gonna have a bet on us to win 2-1 with goals from Ashton and Harewood and with JFH for them always scores against us

What do you lot think?

I cant wait for this one. After a long old summer, the season is nearly upon us.

Looking at the game, im going for a 2-0 west ham win - deano and marlon to score.
Key player for us i feel will be Bowyer if he plays.

Roll on the first Bubbles of the season. Come on you Irons! :crest:

I just hope we win don't care who scores. first game is always a toughie, and this one will be especially so with it being a London derby.

After them taking four points of us last year this is absolutely vital. Dowie's done us too many times too.

Be bloody excellent to be heading up to Anfield in a couple of weeks with 6 points in the bag.

HELP

Please go to http://www.liveonlinefooty.com/ and vote for
the West Ham-Charlton game to be the one to be shown on pay per view. There are a few games to vote for. At the moment the Arsenal-Villa game is ahead. We don't want that do we?

Did someone on here say a while back that Darren Bent has an injury that will keep him out of the first few games? There was nothing on it in the Times round-up today.

He cut his hand open whilst "making a sandwich" (personally it sounded like he had a Morley moment). There was a suggestion it might keep him out for the first month of the season. Must have been a bloody deep cut. But if he's playing for the U21's on Tuesday and then the full squad on Wednesday he'll probably be too knackered for Saturday anyway.
