Hopefully Duscher will come in for Mullins if he decides to come to us! Mears in for Paintsil as he is more defensively minded!

Would like us to stick with our traditional 442 and attack, it nearly worked in the cup final and we scared the crap out of them with the pace of our attack.

Much rather that than the 451 we played at Anfield last year, although we did have Bellion at RM!!

I'm going to say an entertaining 2-2 draw. Bobby and Yossi for us, Gerrard and Crouch for them

Not optimistic about this, dont forget that in the final we had a certain Mr Ashton performing at the top of his game...

zamora has done brilliant so far better than ashton did when he came but i think mears at rb instead of paintsil as he is more defensive

Cambs, I was thinking the same thing about Cole.

I would like to see Pards start him for two reasons. First, he's due a start, so let's see what he can do at Anfield.

Second, Marlon was often really fired up and effective coming in as a sub last season and gave a jolt of energy to the team.

Maybe it's a head-thing again with him -- starting puts too much pressure on him (performance anxiety), but subbing lowers his anxiety and improves his performance.

Finally, I hope Pards doesn't go 4-5-1. Let's run at them like we did at Cardiff. And this time get the right result.

West Ham 2-1. Cole and Harewood (coming on as sub). Carroll saves Gerrard bomb in waning seconds.

I agree, I dont think Marlon will or should be dropped, his presence alone causes problems for defenders, and we all know that once he bangs one in they will soon start to flow.

I really really hope i am wrong but i cant see a win at Anfield (just yet

So do I, but as they're both in my dream team it would at least cushion the blow a bit.

I'm gonna be optimistic and say we're gonna get a draw. We'll be well up for it following the cup final, and they're understrength at the back without Carragher (and Riise). Hyypia isn't the player he was, and I'm not sure about Agger, so we could still get some goals. Bowyer to hack Gerrard down asap please.

Bowyer has went too many games without controversy. He will probably nut someone ( hopefully Gerrard) on Saturday.I dont know what Pardew will be saying to the team in the run up to the game but i would make each one of them watch the whole cup final again to remind them of the hurt. 10 man West Ham earn a draw !
Although having watched Liverpool last night they are suspect at the back, Finnan was awful and that other foreigner centre half was muck.We will never have a better opportunity to do them.

Collins has to play; Gabbs isn't fully fit at the moment and his two performances have shown that.
