On the plus side, he should be fairly easy to outrun...

Thank God that’s over. I hate these trips to play the Great Unwashed. This one cost us a lot. If we lose Dyer for the season (looks likely) then we may be forced into a panic buy in the next couple of days. Meanwhile for our trouble we’ll probably get a trip to Stockport or some equally desirable locale.

If I'd just got news that one of my team mate's career might be over due to a bad bad bone break, I'd play **** too.

Hope it isn't the case, but it doesn't augur well for the poor sod.

I'm obviously gutted for/about Dyer but I'm still relieved we withstood the pressure and didn't play an extra half an hour before playing again on Saturday. Phew.

If ....... IF! (I hope not) his career is over, surely due to his past we wouldn't of been able to get insurance?

Ok. Im going to be short as this game really doesnt need to be elabourated on. It was a game we would always win. The biggest dissapointment is the long term loss of Dyer.

Wright 7 : One good Save. No Chance For Goal
Neill 6 : Poor Second half. Good Going Forward
McCartney 7 : Strong at BACK, CAUSED PROBLEMS GOING FORWARD
Gabbidon 7 : Like the rock he was in 2005
Ferdinand 6 : Exposed for Bristol Goal
Bowyer 6 : Grew in confidnece
Mullins 5 :Poor on the ball and gave it away too often
Dyer 5 : Disapointing injury
Boa Morte 4 : Lacked Vision
Bellamy 9 : Two superb goals
Zamora 6 : Non Existent

Noble 8 : Continues to progress
Collins 9 : Deserves More from Curbishly
Cole 6 : No real impact

Looks like Villa unloaded on poor Wrexham. They must have been utter crap is Harewood and Reo-Joker both scored on them.

On another note, come on Wimbledon!

Carlton Cole has got to be THE worst player ever!

Good 1st half, Gabbidon is not a LB, Bowyer not a RM and we need another midfielder it seems.

Could have been a massive banana skin but we're through - away support was very good too (can they all have an extra priority point please ;) )

Sad about Dyer - septic peg here did say broken leg as soon as I saw the replay, don't think we'll see him again this season if ever. Bellamy was ****ing class!
