I honestly think that team would represent a massive test for l'Arse at Upton Park and though I said otherwise earlier in this very thread, I now reckon we can sneak a 1-1 draw.

Don't know if Curbs would go for a 4-5-1, but I think it could work. I seem to remember a rather important cup game last century . . . we used a 4-5-1 against the much stronger L'Arse. I have vague memories of a 1-0 win followed by a week-long hangover. Anyone care to fill me in on the details?BubbleBoy wrote:We don't do it over here but I'd be tempted to play a 4-5-1 and man mark Fabregas (probably with Mullins) Etherington and Bellamy out wide supplying pace to support Ashton when we have the ball.
Mullins to follow Fabregas all over the park and whenever he gets the ball get right tight to him and don't let him turn and dictate the play.
We still might get beat as they have quality everywhere but if we make them bypass their best player we'll go a long way to getting something out of the game.

CH puts a lot more effort in to type up all the tabloid stories on Sunday mornings.Pacific Hammer wrote:

All this guy on the Arsenal forum has done is used screenshots from the Skysports website. Though it's one of the better presented match previews I've seen.

If Solano is fit I want to see him soon. Ljungberg is still unfit. Parker is a good acquisition to the midfield. Camara over Cole is a must !!!
