Its going to be alright... but anything less than 3 points will be massively disappointing
Hoping that Bellamy is back and everyone comes back from the internationals in one piece, i would like to see:
Green
Neill
Upson
Gabbidon
McCartney
Ljungberg
Mullins
Noble
Etherington
LBM
Bellamy
subs: Wright, Camara, Cole, Bowyer, Collins
...and I would be expecting that team to turn them over without much difficulty... I also expect a different performance to the last 3 games, less of the ugly football and more use of the midfield

Depends what you want. I'd say must-win is reserved only for games you need to win to stay up, and we're a good three or four straight defeats away from that being a serious issue. It would be nice to get some distance between ourselves and Sunderland, and we probably should be, but it's not life-or-death just at the moment.Northern Ireland Hammer wrote: Surely we need to be putting some distance between us and the likes of Sunderland - I feel we have to win this - especially as it is at home.

Noble and Etherington back in the startin line-up, along with Collins instead of Gabbidon. And Bellamy and Cole for the injured Camara and Ashton.
Thats what i'd go with anyway.

Not a must win game as far as relegation is concerned but if we are going to have a decent season/push for Europe then we need to be winning these sorts of games at home.
A fit Bellamy is essential as he gives us that bit of spark that we've been lacking. I don't believe it's coincidence that our poor run has coincided with his injury.
BTW how far is Zamora from fitness?

It is "the game " that I will be taking my missus to each year, she likes to see what all the fuss is about once a season. That means only 3 or 4 pints before the game, no ****er signs to the massed ranks of the mackems, explaing who is Bellamy/Ringo/Neil, or anyone else that is new since her last visit. Explaing that the nice little Argie with the scarface is no longer with us and a visit to the shop (aaaaghhhh) so she can get something for our lad (he is bloody 21 !!)
