I think Upson had a good game tonight. McCartney was solid as ever. Carlton Cole should start scoring goals like that more often.

Surprising !

CFC was so bad the whole game and we were all bad - Ethers did well though.

Styles would have been the reason why we didn't win - about 50 decisions against us. Amazing he didn't give a foul - even though the defender just fell over !!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Spector - was ok got forward I do like Jonny Specs.
Paintsil - 1 good cross he looked lost at other times.
Gabs - didn't have much to do to be honest!

I can't understand why Dowie was moaning at the end they woul dof robbed us with that blatent red card in the first half! still the same defender got mugged off by CFC for the final goal!

we must have been watching a different game. i thought etherington had an absolute shocker, no final ball, poor passing throughout, very little tracking back.

cole on the other hand was always making himself available for the ball, and although he sometimes looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement, i thought he was easily one of our better players. Upson started to impose himself once gabbi came on. But I thought Neill was disappointing, apart from his dreadful distribution, he got far too involved with the Boa Morte professional foul incident and let that get to him far too much.

poor performance overall but at least we won.
