LC4: Coventry 1 West Ham Utd 2 (30/10/07)

Post by BedworthHammer »

Have not seen one yet so i'll start it off
I've been a fan for about 38 years and live a stones throw for the the new Coventry ground if you come by car it's junction 3 m6 .If you take a left off the junction you can park the car for £4 .
Pubs :if you park your car take a left under the motorway there is a pub called the blackhorse that will welcome you.See you there

What I'll do is park the motor and walk into said pub holding crossed fists across the chest.

A chorus of Bubbles from Pip on the arrival of any hammer should do the trick!

See you in there, mate. Thanks for the tip.

Looks like Cole up front on his own again, then. Expecting a very tight game. 1 goal maximum.

Edit: My team....

............................Green...............................
Neill..............Upson.....Ferdinand......McCartney
Bowyer (if fit).Noble.....Mullins..........Etherington
.......................Boa Morte................................
..........................Cole....................................

Subs: Wright, Gabbidon, Spector, Ljungberg, A child from the stands

Same as yesterday with Camara instead of Bellars and maybe Bowyer might get a run out if he is fit!

Camara's cup-tied, so Cole's the only available striker, I think.

Just worried about the extra pressure this might put on carlton... him knowing that if he ****'s up spectacularly we've got no one else to replace him. Is ephraim still on loan at qpr? If not, he should be worthy of a place on the bench.

I would go for a 4-4-2 with him and Carlton up front. We want to make sure we take these competitions seriously (ie no pardew team selections with gavin williams and chris cohen slipping in for their only appearance of the year) but I'd love to have him back from qpr so we don't have to go for a 4-5-1. Of course, another option is playing LBM behind a lone striker (carlton) but he didn't impress me at all yesterday. Seems incapable of tracking back, let alone closing down or tackling. We looked miles stronger when matty came on.

I feel like a strong run in the Carling would do us a world of good so I hope we take it seriously. Predicting a 2-0 win with Cole to score.
