A Geordie friend of mine went to the game and said a poor Derby team really battled for this and made Newcastle look even poorer. These things regularly happen. How else did we stay up last year? Derby v West Ham
I still think Derby are, unfortunately, doomed but the law of averages says Billy Davies' side will win again sometime and I reckon it could happen this weekend.
West Ham seem to be running out of players. They have got injuries in every area and they have still got only Carlton Cole available to play up front.
Prediction: 2-0
I make him right on this except that the score will be 2-1 Derby

Away from home we have taken points from Birmingham, Reading, and Portsmouth. If we play reasonably well and dont sit back Derby are there for the taking. But I just feel that we may struggle
