He's of Polish extraction so I think that counts and he should do the honourable thing and leave right now, preferably by the back door.the pink palermo wrote:He's not a poll , he's an Israeli
Keep him as Manager .

Re: Avram: the poll
Never before, since we started this here website some 13 years ago, has a single poll of this nature gone against the manager. Those who shout loudest rarely represent the majority GH...Gator_Hammer wrote:I'm surprised that 13 people (surely more by the time you read this) want him to stay. Figured it would be more one-sided favouring the sack.

Re: Avram: the poll
I voted for him to go.
At the time i thought he was a good appointment, however watching him during games,he seems to be in a world of his own.Does he ever call players over during games,to give them orders,or does he ever shout intructions to players during games.Never seen him do it.
Thought at the begining, with the way we were playing and not getting results,it was just bad luck, but then after throwing away the lead at Birmingham, realised his tactics if he has any are extremely poor.

Re: Avram: the poll
I think it is too hasty to think of getting rid just yet. Straight off the bat:
1. It's going to cost a lot of bunse (that we don't have)
2. Do we have someone who is clearly better willing to come here?
And beyond that, as far as I see it we were only just good enough to avoid relegation last year. It's much the same players as last year - they're not going to magically become top 4 contenders. And a few clear instances aside (the first two games, the second half against Newcastle, and the entire washout this weekend) we've looked ok, and the margins have been small - a few bits of luck like Piq's goal against Wolves being allowed to stand, Jacobsen getting a pen in the final couple of minutes a few weeks ago etc. and things would look quite different. A few more 3-0 results and I might change my tune however...

Re: Avram: the poll
I voted for him to go. I usually stand by our managers but I have lost all faith in this man. I really can't see him turning this mess around. He (and his assistant) have lost the dressing room, and we are rock bottom of the Premier League and Christmas is fast approaching. Something needs to change, and soon.
Re: Avram: the poll
The dressing room being lost is now a regular thing it seem's! What a bunch of tosser's we must have! So i would see the back of em all! Starting with this so called manager??? Serious clearout needed!

Re: Avram: the poll
we have too many underlying problems with our current 1st team squad. If Avram stays then I fear that we will be too far adrift come Xmas and it will be impossible to turn things around even with a major 1st team overhaul. Avrams got to go with immediate effect.

Re: Avram: the poll
Got to be honest and say I'm shocked the way this poll is going .
And not a little saddened .
We had a glorious day under John Lyall at the empire stadium in 1980 .
Loyalty brings rewards .
14 games .
14 bloody games .

Re: Avram: the poll
No idea.
I think the players should shoulder the majority of the responsibility for our league position but then Grant clearly isn't have much success getting them to do what they should.
I think there are just too many things wrong at our club at the moment. Changing one part in isolation probably won't do naff all.

Re: Avram: the poll
Reluctantly, I opted for getting rid of him, even though at the time I thought he was a good appointment. We need a manager that knows how to keep the team tight at the back aswell as being able to bring in a player or two that can get 10 goals + before the end of the season to be in with a chance of staying up.
That, and I'm still pissed off that we got rid of Curbishley
