They just keep on giving...

"Cleveland Taylor's winning spot-kick provided 10-man Burton a memorable penalty shoot-out win over Sheffield United in the League Cup first round. "

I would have quite liked them to get through, then for us to draw them away in the next round, in all honesty.

Never has a teams fall from grace given me such a warm glow inside as these retched souls. I did think that once Warnock had left my feelings may lessen towards them . What do you know I was totally wrong as they haven't, lol!

That's not far enough.

I was getting all excited for a moment until I remembered this as a an old thread that has been bumped and not a new one signalling some brand new awful catastrophe that might have engulfed Sh*tfilled United (had my dreams come true). My feelings toward Milwall or Spuds pale into insignificance in the light of my loathing of this diseased festering **** of a club.

p.s. Can anyone explain how (just one example picked because it affects us) the rule preventing Carroll playing against Liverpool thereby ensuring Liverpool did not have to face West Ham's most effective striker, does not
constitute third party interference?

Because it only involves two parties: Liverpool and us.

Not quite, matt.
The simple truth is they changed the rules. At the time all our **** was going on it was considered 3rd Party Influence and a few teams should have been charged. As this included Manure, the rules were changed instead.

They have just appointed the cheap option, Chris Morgan, the man who punched van Persie and fractured Ian Hume's skull.

I still don't understand what Liverpool/Man United did differently to us with Mascherano/Tevez.

Or was it simply because it was Liverpool and Man United?

They contracted them excluding the third party element which did for us.

But Liverpool signed Mascherano halfway through the season which was before any of this third party business came about.

You telling me they knew about it then but it didn't come to light until around 5 months later?

Liverpool blatantly had the same deal in place as us.
