Re: the New kits thread
Read somewhere that ManUre fans have got the hump because next seasons new home strip will be the 5th year running that they've changed. Can't actually remember the last time that we had the same home kit for 2 years running ? Think it might have been 2007-2008 but even that changed halfway through with the whole 'stickers over the XL' bit. I was going to tweet DG but wanted to get my facts right first

Sounds great. I will mock that up when I get 5 mins....DDRS wrote:Right, I seriously want a great kit next time around. My dream would be Fred Perry doing us a number but alas this will never happen. 2nd choice for me is Kappa. I always like their kits. Nice 'block' colours in proper shades too. They would make the claret, blue & white come together perfectly. I love this Sampdoria shirt;
Imagine the blue as our claret. Keep the white band across the chest and have the two strips in the band claret & blue. We'd look awesome. We could have our proper badge top-right & a 'Hammers' in the middle. Something a little different & a little classy wouldn't go a-miss!
I've been grateful for Macron not treating us as badly as Reebok, but it's time for a change now (how many more kits are they making for us?)

Re: the New kits thread
Man United signed a deal with Nike a few years back to do exactly that so i don' understand why they're moaning as that money contributes to them paying their star players wages and buying players.Hammersfaniow wrote:Read somewhere that ManUre fans have got the hump because next seasons new home strip will be the 5th year running that they've changed.

I personally find it interesting having a new kit every year, I do feel sorry for parents buying them for the kids though.
maybe a solution could be a maximum price for the kids kit at something more realistic. especially since theirs don't need all the stupid break-through in technology materials etc
